The Coaching Mindset I Experienced Through Childbirth
On 2024/10/12 at 14:23, I gave birth to my second son.
I am recording what welled up in me 8 hours after the birth✍️ (I am definitely on a postpartum high🫱)

Holding my newborn son to my chest,
even though he is a being who can do nothing and doesn't even have a name yet, I instantly felt, 'He is perfect.'
I am going to digress for a moment,
but thankfully, as I spend my days surrounded by 'coaching',
I have many opportunities to be bathed in the coaching mindset by coaches.
One day, during a session, 'the me who wants to write a book' suddenly appeared.
I had never thought about it before, so I was shaken and laughed.
It wasn't even at the level of 'I was aware of it, but someone like me...',
it truly hadn't even crossed my mind.
At that time, my coach said,
'Well then, why don't you write three lines before you give birth!'
I felt a jolt of electricity⚡️
This person actually thinks I'm going to write a book...!
Whether it was about me actually publishing a book,
or about facing this process,
I don't know what the coach was thinking at that moment,
but I realized that people can become very strong just from this feeling of 'being believed in'.
(And as promised, I wrote about 10 lines the day before the birth✍️)
Returning to the topic of childbirth.
Holding the 2782g weight in my arms,
I was able to truly believe from the bottom of my heart that 'he is enough' and 'this person can become anything'.
At the same time, I realized that although I must have felt the same way when my 4-year-old eldest son was born,
I sometimes have parental desires like 'I'd be happy if he turned out like this',
or I make arbitrary assumptions like 'this child is good at this, but bad at that'.
I was made aware of this.
I felt remorse for having such selfish standards even for my lovable 4-year-old,
and although learning coaching has changed my sensitivity toward 'evaluation and judgment' a little, I also felt a sense of loneliness, thinking that perhaps I haven't been applying a high-purity coaching mindset to myself.
Once again, through childbirth,
Am I able to set aside the standards of good and evil and face myself and others as they are?
Am I able to believe in myself and others with 120% purity?
It was a day where my sons asked me, 'Hey Mom, are you living with this kind of "coaching mindset"?!'
Welcome to the world🌏✨✨
Thank you so much for being born.

Still, I wonder why my weight hasn't dropped at all even though I've delivered a 3-kilogram baby🐘
