The Way of the Free-Spirited Person
Hello!
I'm Fujimidori♡
To get right to the point, isn't the "way of being" more important than the "way of doing"?
Huh? Way of being?
Yes. The way of being!
Let's say you're going to learn English. You get lost when you start, don't you? Should I use AI? What teaching materials are good? Thinking about cost-performance...
In other words, you think from the "way of doing."
You don't think about the "way of being."
—Why do you want to learn English?—
—Obviously! Because I can't speak English—
Yes. This is the "way of being."
☆☆☆
The "way of being" of someone who cannot speak English might be called a preconception or an assumption.
Not limited to English, many people start things without reviewing their "way of being." But that's like asking if you can pedal a bicycle while holding the brakes.
Why is that...
If you don't review your "way of being," your brain will process information while remaining the person who cannot speak English.
—I can't speak English. If I were to memorize words easily, that would be strange! I have to make sure I don't understand grammar, too. In the first place, it would be weird if I felt motivated. First, I have to lose my motivation—
If it were a bicycle, you wouldn't pedal while holding the brakes.
But inside your brain, you can't notice it.
So what should you do—

Pardon the late introduction.
I have been a cram school instructor since 1989.
I am currently at a private tutoring school, but I also have long experience at group cram schools, and I have taught over three thousand students.
From first graders to students preparing for university entrance exams.
I have experience teaching all subjects.
Besides being a cram school instructor, I have created teaching materials and mock exams, provided correspondence correction guidance, and coached video lessons... I have done quite a few things.
After graduating from the university's psychology department, my first job was in sales for a management consulting group, and after various things, I became a cram school instructor.
☆☆☆
That said, I think I am a slightly unusual cram school instructor.
This is because I have not consistently taught my students only study methods for passing exams.
So, what else have I been teaching?
It is their "way of being."
☆☆☆
Even when I say I teach their "way of being," it is roughly divided into three stages.
First, I have them confirm what kind of "way of being" they have toward exam preparation.
However, this is not a difficult task.
I simply ask each student what they like and what they are good at, and have them talk about it.
It is interesting that every student suddenly becomes energetic and starts talking vividly.
"Have you always approached your exam studies with the same feeling you have right now?"
Just this one sentence. Even elementary school students intuitively understand. What kind of "way of being" they have used to approach their studies.
☆☆☆
And then, the next stage.
I have each student look back on how they approach the things they like or the fields they are good at.
This was a learning experience for me as well.
(Oh my goodness! Is this how easily they master things? Wow, I'm surprised. If they studied the same way, they would surely achieve something amazing!)
In fact, since I started teaching up to this stage, there is no end to the number of students who have achieved surprising increases in their deviation scores or passed exams that would surprise anyone.
Thanks to that, I have been able to continue working in this field until this age.
☆☆☆
Now, we have reached the final stage.
Only a handful of students have progressed to this point.
I have taught them the <ultimate way of being>.
Ever since I was twenty, I have been constantly pursuing the questions: <Who am I?> and <Why was I born into this world?>
It was at the age of thirty-three that I finally found the answer.
I have been teaching that answer to my students.
☆☆☆
To put it simply,
<I am a free and unrestrained consciousness>,
<I was born to understand that>,
is how it can be summarized...
☆☆☆
Writing it down like this, it sounds somewhat philosophical. It even seems to carry a hint of spirituality.
However, since my audience is, of course, students, I have explained it in a way that even elementary school children can understand.
And now, having found the medium of note, I am thinking of sharing this widely with those who are meant to encounter it.
