What a day this is!

Today is the day of the Japan vs. Brazil soccer match.

The TV broadcast starts at 7:00 PM.

I had planned to be home by 7:00, take a quick bath, and watch the game while drinking a beer.

This plan was non-negotiable.

I was supposed to turn down any work and leave the office on time, but...

Of all days, a problem occurred on-site today.

I rushed to the scene.

After finishing the site assessment and giving instructions to my subordinates, it was 6:00 PM by the time I got back to the office.

By the time I finish the remaining work and get home, it will probably be past 8:00 PM.

What a day!

However, if I hadn't been there, the problem wouldn't have been resolved.

If I weigh the soccer match against the on-site trouble, the answer is clear.

Besides, I might just make it in time for the second half.

I won't give up; I'll hurry home.

Ah, I managed to jump onto the train I thought I'd miss!

This will cut my commute time by 10 minutes!
