[Extra Edition] 300-Character Love Letter. I Tried Writing One Too

I had planned not to write one since I was the one who organized the project, but

there was just one person who wrote one for me.
I am writing this to express my gratitude to that person.

I am writing this with feelings of gratitude for that person.

"You can decide how far you want to swim."

You appeared before me and said that.

I looked to the side and saw people swimming happily.

Even when I tried to swim, the water was up to my neck and I was too scared to move forward.

My hands and feet were rapidly growing cold.

You smiled at me and said,

"You can swim however you like."

In an instant, the water receded and it became easy to swim.

Are you a magician?

I stared at you with my eyes wide open.

"See?"

You smiled at me,
and with your right index finger, you gave my back a little push.

I swam a little and looked at you.
You gave a small wave.

I swam a little more and looked at you.
You were still watching, and you gave a small wave again.

Feeling at ease, I forged ahead.

On and on

On and on

Beyond that

Into the water of writing, beyond that.

I wrote this for Yasu-san.

If Yasu-san hadn't been there, I would have gotten stressed on my own,
gotten sad on my own, and quit note on my own.

I don't know how to write.
I want to improve my commenting skills.

You reached out to me while I was crying,
and taught me about "writing that connects through thought."

The person who built the foundation of my writing
is undoubtedly Yasu-san.

When someone gets lost in this vast sea called note,
if I could call out to them and say, "It's this way..."

In truth, there might be nothing I can do even if I call out to them.

But, just as Yasu-san did for me,
I would be happy if I could become a light for someone.

Because I think doing that would be a way to repay Yasu-san.
To do that, I need to keep working hard, don't I?

I am always grateful.
