This is an answer article for ATF@Wellness Retreat.
Someone who writes about their 'likes' without restraint.
Hi, I'm Shusho.
ATF@Wellness RetreatThis is an answer article for you.
I am very happy that you said you look forward to my articles.
I'm going to cry (´;ω;`) *sob*
Thank you so much!!
I don't write high-quality articles, but
I am writing this article out of respect for ATF (*゚▽゚)ノ
・How much time and energy do you spend writing?
I never put them in drafts.
Once I start writing, I finish it.
I can't do the 'I'll continue this tomorrow' thing.
The passion I have for that article is completely different today than it was yesterday.
I want to write with the same level of passion, so once I start, I absolutely finish it.
*My goal is
800 characters in 30 minutes.
I haven't really been able to keep to that ( ° ω ° ; )
Since I get stuck on words or worry about how to express things,
one hour is really a must.
*By the way, 'Me and My Mentor' is a true story, so it took quite a bit of time. I was sobbing while writing it (seriously),
so it took a while.
About two hours each.
I really wanted to finish writing them within 66 days
(because they are heavy topics, I hadn't been able to write them until now)
so I did my best there.
By finishing these,
I feel like I've gained a little bit of confidence
in 'writing with conviction'.
*In terms of passion,
[April 16] If your writing is bad, aim for the official note magazine | *Shusho*
was very high, but since I wrote it on impulse, I think it's an article with a lot of characters, but it didn't take that much time. Maybe about an hour.
*Conversely, the short-short[April 3] Zippo and Lemon | *Shusho* (note.com)was something I wrote in 30 minutes.
・Do you write in a relaxed state? Or are you immersed in writing?
I definitely keep water by my side.
I eat meals in between, I eat snacks, too,
sometimes I space out, and I watch TV.
I do that when I'm stuck and want to reset.
But, basically, I write in 'silence'.
Sometimes the sentences I build in my head are different from the characters I type with my fingertips,
so noise gets in the way of matching them up.
I wonder if that makes me an immersion-type writer.
・When do ideas for themes come to you?
When I'm looking at everyone's notes, or
when keywords just drop into my mind during ordinary daily life.
Also, since I often write essays,
I remember things from real experiences like 'Oh, that happened,' and
I often pull those out, expand on them, and put them into words.
It feels like the sentences come out along with the keywords in my head.
・Are you conscious of the reader when writing an article? Or do you write what you want to write first?
What I want to write, what I love,
and things that anyone has experienced.
I sometimes write essays about cooking, like curry or spaghetti, but I write about
'meals that most people probably ate when they were children'.
I don't write about things I haven't eaten as a child or don't know the taste of.
Food reviews of my favorite restaurants are a different story, though.
I believe that 'major foods that everyone knows' are the best
for having people imagine the taste through text, and I want to be a trigger for the reader's 'memories'.
I want to pull them out. That's what I think.
I am aware that my writing is clumsy and I still lack skill, so
I try to be creative with things like 'tastes everyone knows'.
I look at the dashboard, too, but
I just think 'Huh~~ so this article is being read~~'
but I don't have the brain to analyze it, so it ends there,
which is a pathetic result.
I have never cared about the number of likes.
Basically, my articles are born because I want to write them, and
I have a belief that "if I'm having fun writing, the readers will have fun too."
Yes, I'm self-conscious.
I'm full of myself. Sorry about that.
But at the root of it all,
is the desire to "make people happy" and "make people laugh."
So, when I get complimented on things like my food reviews,
"Oh? Really? Hehe. Hehehehe. Well then, maybe I'll try my best again,"
I'm just that simple.
Lately, I've been thinking that
being honest about my emotions—whether I'm happy, crying, feeling pained, sad, or joyful—
might be what leads to trust.
After all, there is a "person" on the other side of the article.
I think those people are very sensitive to emotions.
If you write things like "I wrote this for your sake"
or "I know you like this kind of thing," you'll be found out in an instant.
I know that if you give off even a hint of that vibe, people will immediately lose interest.
They'll think, "Wait, this isn't what I was looking for."
I often fall into the "swamp of my note being read by no one"
and scream,
"I can't take it anymore!!!"
"There's absolutely no demand for me on note!!"
"Nobody is reading my articles!!"
"I'm going to envy every single noter!!"
I cry and scream things like that (seriously),
but surprisingly, it's acceptable to write about that too...
note is very broad-minded.(・∀・) Hehe.
I am aware that I am being spoiled by the existence of note.
Because I love
being spoiled! (`・ω・´) Sharp.
Basically, I think it's okay to write about anything.
What kind of articles tend to get read?
In my case, I want someone to tell me what that is (honestly).
Huh?
I think I wrote too much (a bit late for that, isn't it?)
If it makes ATF happy, then I guess it's fine (*゚▽゚)ノ
ATF, how is this?
