I shared what I love, and it led to wonderful connections
How is everyone doing?
This is Shusho.
I previously mentioned that I had repurchased my beloved manga, 'Animal Doctor'.
I received so many comments and learned once again just how much this manga is loved.
And being able to touch upon the fact that everyone has their own memories related to 'Animal Doctor',
it really warmed my heart.
I have nothing but gratitude for Noriko Sasaki-sensei for creating a manga that is loved across generations.
And I would like to introduce the note by Ippei Satozuka-sensei, a real veterinarian, who shared this article.
There was some unmissable information written in the article above.
At the end of the first volume of the book, there is a section called 'Making of Animal Doctor'.
The professor who taught me is depicted there.
The atmosphere and his face are exactly the same.
...
...
Hmm????
Eh????
Could it be that Satozuka-sensei's alma mater is...
Thanks to Shusho-san, I decided to try re-reading Animal Doctor for the first time in a while.
There are many links between the content of the manga and memories of my student life at the time, so I would like to introduce it while tracing those memories.
It might be irregular, but please join me for the 'Animal Doctor' series if you'd like!
When looking at the Making of Animal Doctor, it contained information about the electrocardiogram of Ban'ei horses that I wrote about in a previous article.
I knew it!!!!!
Satozuka-sensei's alma mater is the location where 'Animal Doctor' was researched!!!!
And what's more!!!!
Shusho-san
That's right.
I was surprised at the time too.
I have actually met Noriko Sasaki-sensei, but I'll tell that story another time.
Lovely Muco also has a nice flavor, doesn't it.
I'm looking forward to Shusho-san's articles too!
IT'S HERE!!!!!
Can you believe something like this actually happens?????
No, I know.
I'm this excited, but
I know perfectly well that Dr. Satozuka is not Noriko Sasaki.
But still!!!
\ I love the manga 'Animal Doctor' so much!! /
Just as I was shouting that loudly on note,
I found out that one of my followers studied at the school where the manga is set, is currently a veterinarian,
was a student of the professor Noriko Sasaki interviewed,
has even written articles about ECGs for Ban'ei horse racing,
and to top it all off, has actually met Noriko Sasaki.
Is there any option other than being shocked by the fact
that someone like that was already following me?
No, there isn't!!! (forced)
I'm already happy just because we love the same manga,
but the fact that they studied at the university where 'Animal Doctor' was researched and are now a veterinarian,
and that they would remember that and write an article about it in the future despite being busy is just!!!!
To put it mildly, this is the best thing ever!!!! (super excited)
I'm so glad I became a resident of note!!
note, you're the best!!!!
Phew, pant, phew, pant
(I'm at an age where I get out of breath easily)
Writing an article about how much I love 'Animal Doctor' really made me think.
I really feel that saying "I love this" is important.
The comment section on my manga article was so lively, and it made me incredibly happy.
My basic stance on note is like playing by myself, or rather,
“I wrote this. Hehe.” ← Wait, that’s creepy, isn't it? (;´・ω・)
That’s the kind of feeling I have.
Rather than wanting someone to acknowledge me!!,
“A place where I can be in a good mood and have fun playing,”
“A place to share the knowledge I’ve cultivated so far (like power stones) with others,”
that is how I perceive it.
How to keep myself in a good mood and how to have fun playing on my own.
It might be an exaggeration to call it my philosophy of action on note, but still.
Since I’m already a grown adult, I want to be able to keep myself in a good mood on my own.
In the midst of that, my followers have been gradually increasing, and there are people who comment, so I’m feeling like, wait, what? What is this? This is fun!!
Basically, it’s playing by myself, but I’m not rejecting others or building walls, so the kind of interaction that respects boundaries and cares for one another is exquisitely comfortable.
But that joy comes from the fact that
because I write about “what I like and what I think,”
the people around me
“Hmm, I see. So you like XX.”
“So this is what your daily life is like.”
and so on, they understand me.
I’m not good at writing, I’m surprisingly slow at it, and
I can’t say famous quotes that pierce people’s hearts, but I think I am writing about the theme of “I love this.”
I think the reason I get comments is because my love is being conveyed.
The representative work for that is the article where I shouted, “I love Animal Doctor!” and I think there were many people who empathized with me, saying, “I love that manga too♡.”
I hope I can continue to explore the “things I love” and turn them into articles.
You know.
If you have something you love, you should try shouting that you love it.
If you don’t say it,
no one will know what you like, right?
I’m sure,
someone will catch it.
There are people who have the capacity
to catch someone else’s feelings.
Not everyone is on edge.
Just because no one caught it,
doesn't mean you should feel down.
It's not like everyone is watching every direction.
But,
there are many things that won't be understood unless you say them.
When you're creating something from scratch, or walking a path you've never walked before,
even if it looks like a small, thin, flimsy wall to others,
from your perspective,
it's an endless, daunting path that feels impossible to reach,
you get so nervous you feel like you're going to collapse or throw up,
and you're dominated by the sound of your own heart, thinking, 'What if the whole world laughs at me?',
making everything feel like it's shrinking down tight.
Even so.
Even so.
The courage to speak about what you love
is actually within you.
You might have been disgusted with yourself
for suppressing your true feelings
and only being able to offer a dry laugh,
but wasn't that just because you didn't know what else to do?
First, the things you love,
please acknowledge them.
You're spinning in circles in your head
because you're thinking about 'why' you like them.
Your legs are shaking
because you're thinking in terms of 'can I do it, or can't I?'
Let's stop trying to cling to
expectations of 'something' beyond what you love.
From within your heart,
the things that want to come out,
the things you love,
please set them free.
