After the Graduation Event

This text is the complete version of what I posted in the ALT for my final post as @smilen_MUC, regarding #SmilenGraduation2024 which took place on January 27th and 28th, 2024 ☁️

Thank you for meeting me in this irreplaceable, one-of-a-kind mansion!

Although I called it a graduation, I didn't have the slightest intention of graduating from Smilen (as I've already stated), so I was very hesitant about whether I should hold an event, whether I should offer champagne, and so on.

But, to have such a grand and wonderful day created for me...!

Yay!

It became a memory of a lifetime. Thank you.

Memories flow away with surprising speed,
how sad it is to be human,
we are creatures that forget almost everything.

Even so,
“I will never forget this view, even if I die,”
there are moments, seconds, and fleeting scenes that make you feel that way.

The sound of rain on the day I ran outside during a typhoon,
the sparkling sky on the day I skipped class because I hated school so much,
the hand that scouted me when I went to a maid cafe,
the nervousness of my first birthday event and the joy when it turned out better than expected,
the wave of pink glow sticks shining at my homecoming live,
the contrast of vast green and blue I gazed at in Hokkaido,
the transparency of the starry sky I looked up at while shivering in the cold.

And this time,
the surprising number of original champagne bottles lined up when it ended,
the shocking number of people at opening,
the shop full of people, everyone's smiles.

By layering, layering, and piling up those moments,
I think that making something like a 'revolving lantern of life' at the moment of death
colorful
might be the purpose of my life.

The scenery burned into my eyes and
the movements and warmth of my heart felt at that time
are things that likely won't be lost even when I grow old.

I hear that in hospital rooms, people only think about the past.
We live our lives clinging to that.

For me, one of those things
was this event.

And, there is your existence.

That's why, I'm glad I did it,
thank you for coming to see me.

Just as it makes me happy to pass an exam I studied for, I am genuinely happy that the event ended safely like this because I prepared properly.
It is a blessing to have the judgment of an adult and the ability to pour effort and heart into things I want to prepare or want to see people enjoy.

I was happy about everything: you coming to see me, eating and drinking the food and original cocktails, ordering the lottery tickets I made too many of, and of course, the champagne, which is a symbol of celebration.
The moment of feeling my own heart, thinking that all of those things truly make me happy, is also a happy thing.

I cannot stop thanking the cast members who appeared even though their own shifts were reduced due to the chores involved in holding this event, and the fairies, including Mana-san, who made various preparations despite being super busy.
Thank you very much!

I am selfish, so I want to keep stacking up these moments that burn into my eyes like this, and live my life so that I can see a highlight reel that looks like a bouquet of flowers.
It's a good plan, isn't it?

I want you to be in it, too.
So, I would be happy if you could stay with me as much as possible.
