Kingdom Centre: Always climb to the highest point when traveling! | Saudi Arabia Picture Diary: Riyadh Edition
[Summary of previous episodes]
Runrun decided to go to Saudi Arabia for her first trip abroad in three years. Her trip with Emma, a Saudi friend she met at English school, has begun. First stop: the capital, Riyadh!

[Picture Diary (Comic Essay)]
Standing in the heart of the capital, Riyadh, is the Kingdom Centre, a remarkably tall building at approximately 302 meters high!
When you hear there's a tall building with an observation deck while traveling, you just have to climb it, right? So, that's exactly what I did.

[Kingdom Centre]
The building houses the ultra-luxurious Four Seasons Hotel, where even Ronaldo has stayed, as well as the Kingdom Mall with over 150 stores, offices, and restaurants.
The observation area is a place on the 99th floor called the 'SKY BRIDGE'!
Since the Sky Bridge didn't open until noon, we decided to have lunch and do some window shopping first.
I was a bit worried that the restaurants here would be incredibly expensive, but I was relieved to find that the food court in the annex was priced about the same as in Japan.
We ate Iranian food on the terrace for lunch. It was fun that the Saudi food court had shops from many different countries.

[Sky Bridge (Observation Floor)]
The entrance to the observation floor is next to Montblanc on the second floor.
There were no large signs, so it was hard to find, and I finally made it there after asking the staff at the entrance.
It opened at 12:00, so I bought a ticket (69 SAR) and took two elevators to the 99th floor.
You can get a panoramic view of the city of Riyadh from the corridor, which has windows on both sides.
There was no time limit, so I was able to enjoy the view at my leisure.
I gazed at the various shapes of the buildings and the gentle colors of the cityscape. Riyadh was massive.
