3 Actions Only People Who Stick with a Side Hustle Do
People who stick with a side hustle don't have special talents. They only do 'just 3 actions'.
Good morning ☕️ I'm Ru-Nurse 😊
While working as a nurse, I'm taking on the challenge of 'ChatGPT x Side Hustle' with the goal of eventually 'graduating from nursing'.
Do you ever feel down, thinking, 'I just can't keep it up...' after starting a side hustle?
Actually, I was the same way at first.
Exhausted after a night shift, I absolutely couldn't bring myself to open my laptop.
I'd procrastinate, saying, 'I can't do it today, I'll do it tomorrow.' Before I knew it, a whole week had passed without getting anything done.
Those days just kept on coming.
But then, I realized something.
The reason I couldn't keep it up wasn't a lack of effort, but simply not knowing 'how to build a habit'.That was it.
Is it true that you can't do it because you don't have time?
The number one reason for not being able to do a side hustle is 'not having time'.
Taking care of children, housework, work... For a housewife around 40, there is very little time for oneself.
But if you think about it calmly, there is always a moment where you can secure 15 minutes. Before breakfast, between laundry loads, after the kids are asleep.
It's just that you 'don't do it because you don't have the energy'.
That is exactly why what's important is,not 'making time', but 'making it a habit'.
If you turn those 15 minutes into a routine, your side hustle will accumulate without strain.
3 Action Routines to Keep Your Side Hustle Going 🌱
From here on, I will introduce the '3 steps that actually allowed me to keep going'.
1️⃣ 5 minutes in the morning: Ask AI for today's tasks
Just throw 'What should I do today?' at the AI.
Even on mornings when your brain isn't working, the AI will give you instructions like 'come up with ideas for this article' or 'rewrite this part', so you won't get lost.
You can save the 'thinking energy' needed for your side hustle.
2️⃣ 5 minutes at noon: Jot down article ideas on your smartphone
While commuting or between chores, jot down things that pop into your head on your smartphone.
'Today's realization', 'things I failed at', 'a word I want to deliver to readers'.
Just by doing this, you'll steadily accumulate material for articles and posts.
3️⃣ 5 minutes at night: Throw your note draft to the AI
It's okay if you have zero concentration at night.
Just give the AI the notes you took during the day and ask it to 'make a draft out of this'.
Since it comes back with the text polished, you'll have completed '1 output' before going to sleep.
Just this much.
5 minutes each in the morning, noon, and night, for a total of 15 minutes.
Just by repeating this every day, the number of articles and the amount of output will naturally accumulate ✨
Small accumulations change the future
Before I adopted this routine, 'I don't have time' was my catchphrase.
But since I started accumulating 15 minutes,
'My articles increased'
'I received reactions from followers'
'I want to work harder'
It changed into such a positive cycle.
The reason a side hustle doesn't last isn't because your willpower is weak.
It doesn't last because 'there is no system'.
That is why turning it into a routine becomes your strongest ally.
I have also just started running.
But I believe that these small accumulations will lead to the future of 'graduating from nursing'.
So, won't you do it with me? 😊
Today, let's start with just 15 minutes a day.
Let's accumulate small habits together with me ✨🙌
