Two senior mothers who graduated from music college
and are active as piano teachers
and musicians
choose the songs every month 🎶
(Sometimes incorporating requests from participants)

A school-approved, voluntary mothers' circle ♬
Once a month, excluding long school holidays,
I go to get refreshed if I can take the day off 😌💗
It's a loose connection 🎗️ and a warm place where
several people from each grade and parents of graduates can attend

Since we can have live performances & sing to let it all out ♫
there are usually just under 20 participants each time

It's a peaceful community where everyone
participates only when they can make it ♪

For the person who gave me a gift last time,DEAN & DELUCAI had prepared
salted caramel cookies,
but since they were absent,the conductorI gave them to the person who
as a thank you, saying 'Thank you for your guidance always' 🍪

Usually, Iparticipate for half a day,but on this day, I wastiredfrom work,
so I took the whole day off and joined them for lunch 🍴
I also joined the Italian restaurant they visit every time 🇮🇹

There, I heard something unexpected thatsurprisedme 😲

A mother who is very enthusiastic about education and whose child is in the same grade as my second son,
who also served as PTA president for two years,was someone who seemeddignified,but surprisingly, after her child graduated,
starting this fiscal year, she has become a teacher (or instructor?) at that private elementary school! ❕️

I was
astonishedthat such a thing could happen
Of course, it was ascoutfrom theschool side‼️

(I had known of cases before where people were hired after starting a business
because theircompetence
was confirmed while working together in the PTA through other connections)

I was made to realize the importance of working without cutting corners anywhere~

In the conversation there, there was something I couldbe of help withunexpectedly

It was aboutcram schoolsfor junior high school entrance exams
When my eldest daughter was in school (public elementary school → combined junior/senior high school),
I had her attend a major cram school for junior high entrance exams

From my memories of that time and my experience with my eldest son's entrance exam for a metropolitan combined junior/senior high school
at a different major cram school, I didn't have very good memories of major cram schools,
and I was disgusted by their billing-oriented nature (it felt endless)
and the fact that they were beyond capacity

For my second son, I had him attend a visiting-style major cram school that offers flexible
support for school events, with no late return times,
using an individual guidance model (small group type)
(where the school and cram school are integrated, and Saturday classes are also available).

I feel like I was able to be helpful by sharing specific episodes, the good points, and potential concerns that might feel lacking with a junior mom who was very interested in the pros and cons of that cram school.
Since there was a high school entrance exam after the junior high entrance exam
(followed by surgery and hospitalization, two graduation ceremonies,


graduation trips

, two entrance ceremonies, etc., and even a solo trip lol), it felt like an event from a long time ago,
but I felt nostalgic realizing it was only four months
ago, a relatively recent event.

It was a lovely time.

I was often frustrated and angry because my second son didn't seem to grow up at all...💢
But since it hasn't even been half a year since he graduated from elementary school,
well, I guess it can't be helped, and I was able to be just a little more broad-minded.

Just the other day, he took the Kanken (Kanji Proficiency Test), and according to his self-grading, it looks like he passed🈴✨️

On this day, it was a relaxing day where we watched National Treasure on Amazon Prime for the second time.
