My #1 Goal for the Year 🎖️✨️ I'm going to become a minimalist!

The first thing I was able to execute at the start of the year was...✊️✊️✨️
Since I bought something new...
suitcasessaying goodbye to two of them👋👋

I didn't really haveany attachment to thingsto begin with, but I have a bit too many
bagsandclothes, andaccessories. When bags and accessories are no longer needed,

I sell them on Mercari or at pawn shopsso I do circulate them to some extent,

I used the proceeds from selling a British brand bag🎀 to
exchange for a Shakti Mat~🔁 Got it for free!?✌

Since I can't bring myself to sell my ownclothes(I do sell newer ones or ones I haven't worn much),
I've decided to interpret
not going to salesplusthrowing them awaywhen they get worn out(after using them for
dustingwith gratitude)as successfully decluttering.

As for otherbulkyitems... they are things like graduation albums, the kids' school projects, and certificates, or my own travel albums (from before digital cameras), so I'm keeping them because I feel like it would be wrong to throw those away.

The problemis getting myhusbandanddaughter (high school sophomore)to declutter this year!! This is
my biggest goal for the year❕️

How should I put it...
Both of them arehoardersby nature... they're just people who can't throw things away...🚯

So the challenge ishow to get them to let go of things happily?!that is the issue.

Last year, they finally threw away (I made them throw away) somegolf clubsas oversized trash, but they are somewhat of
maximalists who want to keep this and that on hand, so I want to have them organize other things (which I see as junk) so that I can also live in a clutter-free space.

It is harder to
get my family to declutter than it is to declutter myself, and
solving that problem is my biggest goal 🌠
