Reunion and Farewell Party for Japan Association for Financial Planners Volunteer Consultants

I went to a
reunion
reunion and farewell party for a person from China who is moving to the Kansai region after we volunteered as consultants at the FP Forum last year.

We also had a year-end party with nearly 20 people six months ago.

We also had several get-togethers and wrap-up parties during our activities.

An asset management article written by an FP was featured, and it hit the top of the weekly
likes & access ranking 🎖️✨️

Now, for today's story.

The guest of honor, who is from China, has lived in
Kyoto since she was a university student, and it has been
16 years since she started living in Japan.

In Tokyo, she holds multiple Japanese national certifications and works as a trilingual professional,
primarily serving wealthy Chinese clients, sharp!

I had assumed it was a transfer by her company that led to her
moving to the Kansai region, but...

Surprisingly⚡️, it was her own decision; she suddenly felt like she wanted to return to where she was
, so she contacted the landlord of the place
she used to live in, decided to move back to her old home,

made up her mind to resign, and is now busy preparing for the move.

Her next job is undecided, she says.

She is in her 30s, single, has a lovely smile, and is talented (I actually thought from the beginning that

she was the best performer among the volunteers), so I suspect that even if she looks for a new job after getting settled in her new home, she will definitely find one quickly.

That was quite a bold decision to make.

The guest of honor feels more at home in Japan than in China and has no plans to return permanently. She says her parents often come to visit her. She is

more attentive than a Japanese person

, and she gave us some sweets.

I was once again stunned by her versatility & variety of talents and it was very interesting to hear about the recent status and exchange information with those I felt a connection with, as well as other members.

Of course, we also talked about our respective asset management, what we are doing, and our
things we don't do and preferences.

have absolutely no need to do anything else." lol

She is someone who successfully transitioned from the same industry to a different industry ◎

I told her, "I'm a lost child because of my failed job change (to where I wanted to go) & the regret of letting it go" YO~

Ah~ I realized that's how I must look to others 🤭

As usual, we all took a group photo and said goodbye in Shibuya 👋 (I only appear in photos when using my real name or when taking them with my own smartphone; being identified = getting fired... so please forgive me)

I only volunteered for the FP Association once last year, but it seems some people are continuously involved in helping with operations, and I was inspired by their

spirit of contribution
and self-improvement.

It was a fun time of
diversity with various professions and even some entrepreneurs, making for a great cross-industry exchange.

I have a feeling we might gather once more this year ✯
