FP Networking Event followed by applying for a Tokyo Metropolitan project → Interview date set✌

I received a message from the Japan Association for Financial Planners, where I hold my certification, and went to the first networking event🎗

The top image is the venue 🎃 It was a gathering of nearly 50 people!!!!!

FP stands for Financial Planner

I don't use it in my main job, but a long time ago, I took the exam and got certified when it first changed from a private qualification to a national qualification and I only use it to help with my hobby? of managing my own assets.

Other than that, I have been using it for about 5 years in this volunteer activity 👇

Back to the topic of the FP networking event 💡

This was a workshop that was more fruitful than I imagined. A real ❁ genuine networking event❣

It wasn't just a networking event in name only; there were people working independently as FPs, professionals (there were social insurance labor consultants and tax accountants), people in education, the matchmaking market, etc. It was a cross-industry networking event with completely different fields and the only common point was that we held the same qualification.

Because of that, there are several people I was able to connect with even after the event 🎀 Chatting on Messenger ♬

Also, I was inspired by a well-informed person who told me about a Tokyo Metropolitan project, and the day after the networking event, I applied right away 🤭 I live solely by quick action and footwork lol

There were several people at the venue who had applied for it, but they all said they failed the screening (it seems the reason was a lack of experience stories).

I don't know if my antenna wasn't high enough (lol), but I didn't know about that project. However, I wrote about my experience conducting financial education in elementary schools and applied, and I received a message saying, "We would love to hear your story" ❣

In everything, you should do what you can when you can 😉✨

The interview is in December ❄, which is quite a ways off (!!), but I'm looking forward to visiting ♬

It is still unknown whether they will give me work, but...

I was taught other good things to apply for using my qualifications, and although it was our first time meeting, I even ran into a former colleague who had taken early retirement ❢ It was such a surprising coincidence fate even though it was a small group 🎗

So, I might be able to do Tokyo Metropolitan work as a side job 🤩?! It doesn't seem like it will be that easy, though...

Since everyone was interested, I talked about where I ordered the teaching materials from and what kind of opportunities I found to provide financial education in elementary schools ~
