Things That Make Me Happy (My Answer)

I have been asking my brain and body this question since October 29th, and I finally arrived at an answer.
It is...





“Perfume”.
Wearing my favorite scent. That is my answer.
Carrying a bottle around is heavy, and it might break, so it becomes a burden.
But I want to be wrapped in my favorite scent.

So, I decided to buy the perfume that I had run out of a long time ago.
I had been searching for it for a long time, but it was always sold out everywhere or difficult to obtain.
So, I had no choice but to go without it for several years until today,
but after this recent experience, I searched for it on the web again...
To my surprise, I found it immediately.

Come to think of it, a long time ago, since it was a perfume not originally available in Japan, I ordered it from overseas, but the bottle contained only water.
That perfume had been discontinued a long time ago, so at the time I just accepted it and gave up, but since this was a Japanese shop, after carefully confirming whether the shop would cover the return shipping if it turned out to be water,

I felt like I was being forced to make a decision: either wear that scent again and return to the past, or find a new scent and start my life over.

After consulting with my brain and body for about two days, I reached a conclusion.
“Now is the time to be wrapped in that scent.”
So I went back to that shop.
Then, the sold out sign was gone.

I was able to complete the payment successfully.

And yesterday.
I was finally reunited with the thing that makes me happy.

Psh. Psh.
Ah, this is it. This scent.
Oh, how happy I am...
Perfume changes its scent as time passes.
I especially like the last note.
I also like the lingering scent on my clothes.
As long as I have this, I can maintain a happy feeling for several more years, no matter what happens.

It's a rather unique scent, so it's embarrassing when I'm in the restroom, though...
