Hello.
I am the author of "Civil Engineering AI Note," a 55-year-old civil engineer who is relearning by incorporating ChatGPT and Excel into my work.
This time, I would like to talk about the Kindle books I am writing,
"The World's Easiest ChatGPT Master Series."
I would like to talk about that.
I have currently published volumes 1 through 7, and volume 8 is also in preparation.
At first, I didn't even know what to ask.
When I first started using ChatGPT, there were so many things I didn't understand.
"Which AI model should I choose?"
"How detailed should my questions be?"
"Is it safe to upload PDFs or Excel files?"
"How much of my work documents can I entrust to it?"
Even looking at the feature names on the screen, I didn't really understand what they meant.
Although I thought it looked useful, I couldn't quite imagine how to use it in my actual work.
Even so, as I tried it out a little bit every day, I began to feel that ChatGPT is not something used only by special people.
I compiled what I wanted to know into a book.
When you search for information about ChatGPT, you find many technical explanations.
However, as an AI beginner, I sometimes felt that I needed an explanation just to understand the explanations.
So,
I started thinking, "I want to create a book that even my past self could understand."
I decided to do so.
I would avoid technical jargon as much as possible, keep sentences short, and make it easy to read on a smartphone.
I would explain actual operations and usage with the help of diagrams and concrete examples.
I would keep each book concise so that readers could start with the topics that interest them most.
That is the philosophy behind the birth of

Volume 1: AI Model Utilization
Learn why ChatGPT has multiple models and how to use each one appropriately.
This is an introductory volume for those who are unsure which one to choose.

This is for those who want to start using ChatGPT in their work and daily life.
Volume 3: Basic Functions (Part 2)
Learn to use Memory, Projects, GPTs, and the Library to turn ChatGPT into your own personal partner.
Volume 4: Information Gathering and Analysis
Learn how to use Web Search and Deep Research to collect, compare, summarize, and verify necessary information.
Volume 5: Voice and Image
I will introduce the basics of voice mode, image generation, image editing, and image analysis.
You will learn how to use ChatGPT beyond just text input.
Volume 6: File Utilization Edition
I explain how to have ChatGPT read files such as PDF, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and CSV, and how to use them for summarization and data analysis.
This is a recommended book for those who handle a lot of document work.
Volume 7: Connector Edition
I introduce how to search for and utilize information saved in external services, such as files, emails, schedules, and notes, from within ChatGPT.
I also explain permission management for safe usage.
Volume 8: Platform Utilization Edition
You will learn the characteristics of both computers and smartphones, and how to use ChatGPT appropriately depending on the time and place.
Volume 8 is currently being prepared for publication.
It is gradually becoming useful in civil engineering work as well
ChatGPT does not automatically finish all of your work.
Even so,
Drafting documents
Organizing long documents
Thinking of Excel functions
Creating checklists for confirmation items
Having difficult terms explained simply
In these situations, it becomes a reliable partner to consult.
I believe the important thing is not to try to use it perfectly from the start.
Instead of leaving an entire task to it,
"First, let's just have it help with this part"
Start with small ways of using it like that.
That accumulation will gradually reduce your workload.
You can read from whichever volume interests you.
You do not need to read this series in order from the first volume.
If you want to create images, read Volume 5.
If you want to utilize PDFs and Excel, read Volume 6.
If you want to check emails and schedules all at once, read Volume 7.
If you want to use it on your smartphone, read Volume 8.
You can choose from the themes that you need right now.
