Influenza is spreading like wildfire at daycare. My heart is already trembling.
At my daughter's daycare, influenza is spreading at a level that's practically a "festival."
Finally, at drop-off, the daycare teachers have started taking everyone's temperature.
Apparently, there are over 20 infected children in the facility... yikes! 😱
Of course, at home, we are being thorough with hand washing and gargling (*though my daughter is exempt),
but honestly, when it spreads this far, I feel like all I can do is pray.
And the biggest problem is this.
"I don't want to take any more time off work!!!"
For my company, the busy season is every year from the end of the year through March.
If I take a long absence now, it's a one-way ticket to hell.
I'm sure I tell my husband this every year, but...
Is it getting through to him? Really?
When this season arrives, a faint sense of impending arguments starts to drift in.
I hope we can all get through this as a healthy family.
No, seriously, I'm begging you...
