Some books are missing in the bookshelf of the Time Traveller.
Presumably the Time Traveller picked up a few books in order to rebuild the civilization and "returned" to 802701, the future when the Time Traveller "found" decaying remnants of books……
I found my bookshelf was no longer crammed full of books, and a scene emerged from "The Time Machine" by H. G. Wells.
While not being a time traveller, my mind frequently goes back to the past.

The full movie is here⬇️ Its ending does not contain the scene of picking up books. The scene was not used in the final version.
Nonetheless, the scene of a few books missing in his bookshelf is certainly etched in my memory.

Another annotation says it remains unclear which book the Time Traveler brought back to the future.
The reason why the ending was altered is worth revisiting especially in this political juncture…
