INI's "What A Night" is [XX]. Part 1: Talking about the brilliance of this song

I would like to talk about "What A Night," which is included on INI's 3rd album.

INI's "What A Night" is a "love song directed at me (MINI)."

This is an INI song for which Jin Matsuda tried his hand at writing lyrics for the first time.
Judging by the credits, it is a co-written piece, but I felt that it was sufficiently sprinkled with Jin Matsuda-esque essence.
I would like to touch upon the lyrics one by one.

Perhaps they wanted to express INI being wrapped in a lot of love with a title that has such an episode attached to it.

The first verse begins with "I got feelings~."
I am first captivated by the fact that Jin-chan, who wrote those lyrics, is the one singing them. His singing voice has a mysterious charm where sadness and freshness coexist.

"How many times have I told you this emotion"
An atmosphere that makes you think of the years up to this point and remember them.
The words "feel" and "emotion" are words that Jin-chan is often tasked with in INI songs, and for some reason, they are endearing.
I think Jin-chan's image of "feeling" is intuition, quick decision-making, and a clarity without hesitation.

...Based on "10 THINGS," which MINI loves, the phrase that expresses feelings that pile up even more,
"10 THINGS isn't enough, my feelings for you are getting stronger,"
is a line written by Jin-chan.
The love he expresses is accompanied by depth.
A love that seems to keep confirming things over and over again.

I think so because he asks his fans how much they understand him at his solo concerts, and he does these kinds of segments in INI Folder too...

When I heard this for the first time, I thought it was an answer song directed at me.
I think of Jin-chan asendearing even in his incomplete parts,and I always tell him that.

Since the moon can shine because of the sun, it can also be taken that he is likening himself to a celestial body.
Of course, in a broad sense, it can be interpreted that INI was chosen by fans to debut and that they are beings who will support them forever.

I also learned that the English that follows is quite a deep expression of love. I will quote an easy-to-understand note.

"Stay with me, Anytime"

I really feel Jin Matsuda in this phrase.
It's amazing to be able to say something like this so straightforwardly.

And the scene description "Under the moonlit night" that comes right after the opening "The show begins"... the romanticism of it all...
If "10THINGS" is the refreshing song you want to listen to in the morning, "What A Night" is the one you want to listen to quietly at night.

...The first introduction I saw for What A Night didn't sound like a fan song at all.

When I heard Jin Matsuda wrote the lyrics and saw this description, I felt a strange sense of jealousy... but I realized later that this "you" was me (MINI)...

He describes the fans asyou who color tonight enchantingly???
This description isn't a lyric, but I'm happy that he volunteered to write the lyrics for a song with this kind of theme.

Once again, I was driven crazy by Jin Matsuda.

"Beyond time"
Now that we're heading into our 5th year, I really feel the meaning of "time".

"Hit the lights"
Literally, this means "to turn on the lights," but I heard it's sometimes used as slang for "turning off the lights." Before a show starts, the lights always go down.
Also, in terms of the word combination, it brings to mind the image of the sun illuminating the moon.
Regarding this part, I saw a follower's interpretation and thought, "I see."

"dive in"
This is also a frequently appearing phrase in this song.
It means to immerse yourself, to be absorbed... I feel a passion like, "I'm head over heels for you!" This is also a phrase with deep love.
