My Profile
Good evening, this is Mirohira.
Thank you for reading☆
Let me introduce myself.
●Background
Born in Osaka. My parents' home is in Osaka but I live far away. I grew up in Kansai and Kyushu.
My parents were transferred frequently (^^)
●Family
I have a family of four: my husband and two sons.
Since my two sons were frail I started learning about health while working and raising children. And then, I had a fateful encounter with Pilates! there.
●Work History
After working as a bank employee at a mega-bank, an executive secretary at a resort hotel, a dental assistant, and sales administration, I am currently in my sixth job as a full-time employee, doing full-time desk work. Because of this, I personally experience
various physical ailments caused by computer work and all kinds of mental and physical troubles felt with age through my own body and experience.
Also, I believe I can support clients broadly regarding balancing housework and childcare, stress management, how to deal with children in their rebellious phase, romance, and married life.
●Life Work Part 1
FTP Mat Pilates Advanced Instructor
(Group Lessons)
Over a decade ago, I had a fateful encounter with Pilates and thought, "I must master this method and
share it with myself, my family, and the people around me!" and "It's necessary knowledge for everyone to become healthy!"
Until then, I was just an ordinary office worker, so I had no experience standing in front of people to teach.
However, driven only by the passion to share! I decided to obtain an instructor certification, left my young children at home, spent a large amount of money, and participated in a training session in another prefecture all by myself, where I knew no one.
Then, I found that everyone else participating besides me was a physical education university graduate or someone working in the fitness industry.
When asked "What is your job?" during self-introductions, I said "I'm an office worker," and they replied, "A gym instructor?"
In other words, I felt like I had wandered into a place where I didn't belong, surrounded by trainers. Of course, I had no experience smoothly instructing exercises I had just learned in front of people.
"What should I do..." From the first day, at the hotel, I thought, "I messed up!" "I want to cry and go home (´;ω;`)ウッ…"
What am I doing as an adult...? I left my children behind, spent a lot of money, and came to a place where I don't belong. But precisely because of that, I can't go home empty-handed!! I'll work like my life depends on it! I want to pass no matter what!!
I kept moving until I was muscle-sore, transcribed every word the teacher said into my notebook, and went back to the hotel to memorize it all overnight. And so, I somehow managed to obtain my basic license. This was when I was in my early 30s.
Then, a few years later, I had the opportunity to obtain a higher-level advanced qualification.
The pass rate is extremely low, and it has a reputation for being difficult.
"Well, I'll give it a try, even if I don't pass. Regardless of whether I pass or not, I will definitely gain knowledge."
So, I took on the challenge. It was during the Olympics, so I told my sons, "Mom is going to do her best to win a gold medal (pass the exam) too!" and once again, I spent my days pulling all-nighters and dealing with muscle pain.
Even in the middle of the night, I kept the Olympic coverage on and was encouraged by the athletes' performances as I worked hard. Every time the Olympics come around, I remember those days.
I was a student in my 30s (laughs).
And, as expected, since I was doing it anyway, I wanted to pass the exam! It was worth the desperate effort, and I was also lucky enough to pass the advanced license, which I had thought was beyond my reach.
For the month between the exam and the results announcement, I checked the mailbox every day, waiting with bated breath for the notification and certificate sent from the headquarters in New York.
Now, the advanced exam itself no longer exists.
It seems the licensing system changed because the advanced exercises were too intense to teach to the general public, and global standards were unified.
And so, as an ordinary working housewife, I ended up balancing my activities as a Pilates instructor as my life's work.
Supported by my family and everyone around me, I have been able to support the health of over 12,000 women in total over the past 15 years or more.
Now, the identity of being a "Pilates instructor" supports me firmly, like my own backbone (^▽^)
● Life Work Part 2
RRR Certified Beautiful Posture & Beautiful Legs Specialist
(Personal Trainer for Women)
There is a group of specialists called "R3" that includes many of the top-class trainers in the country who create beautiful bodies from the skeletal structure.
The RRR method is based on the latest functional anatomy, and many of the exercises are based on Pilates.
I was teaching Pilates group lessons, but
I was really bad at anatomy (;';')
I just couldn't memorize the names of the muscles and bones (-_-;)
For group lessons, if you can teach Pilates exercises perfectly, that is enough.
I was an instructor at a culture school, and the classes were always full with a long waiting list, and I had even stopped advertising for about five years.
However, I wanted to master it more! I wanted to study more! More, even more!!!
Because I thought that everyone's body is different.
Then, I had the opportunity to take an RRR seminar and decided that this was what I needed. Over the course of seven years, I took all the RRR seminars and learned so much.
Since I had studied so hard, I became a student again in my 40s. I challenged myself to get the license. As you get older, your physical strength and confidence decrease (sweat).
There are both practical and written exams. I memorized thick professional anatomy books by heart. My family was half-exasperated. Seeing me take on various other challenges, like the real estate notary exam, my husband calls me a "pervert" (laughs).
So, as usual, I pulled an all-nighter, got muscle aches, and somehow or other, I managed to pass the exam for the 'Beautiful Posture and Beautiful Legs Specialist' certification I had been longing for.
With this, I have been able to improve my skills as a personal trainer and gain confidence. I'm so glad I took the leap and challenged myself!
However, I am still nowhere near where I need to be.
Everyone's body is different, and my studies as a trainer will continue forever, on and on.
● Life Work Part 3
IRC Certified Image Consultant
I love women's smiles.
I want to increase the number of radiant smiles on women!
If women are smiling, then smiles will overflow in homes, workplaces, organizations, and society.
I firmly believe that.
As a working mother myself, I think that if a mother is lively and happy, the home will be peaceful too.
I have been studying psychology since I was a student.
And, as I learned about color, fashion, makeup, and so on, I was happy with the positive reactions from those around me regarding the changes in my appearance.
As we age, I also feel the need to make color our ally.
When I was young, I often wore black clothes.
Now, black doesn't suit me at all. Why?
Because of things like sagging skin, shadows are cast on my face, making me look dark.
Besides that, if your true self is 100 points, wouldn't you like to know the tricks to make yourself look like 100 points or more?
If I wear black clothes, I'm 50 points. If I wear brown, I'm 60 points. What a waste (lol).
The points for looking better can be acquired through knowledge, even if you don't have a sense of style.
So, the job of an image consultant is to diagnose the hairstyles, hair colors, clothing colors, shapes, and accessories that suit you (personal color diagnosis, personal style diagnosis) is.
Even if you are dressed very stylishly, if your posture or way of walking is bad, it looks uncool. It's a waste.
Even if your posture is good, if you are in a 'wasteful' state and don't have confidence in yourself, it's a waste.
Therefore, I also support 'the ideal self that person wants to aim for' from a psychological perspective, and I also happily help with total self-production, from the inside out, from skeletal structure to visuals.
● Other things I've been obsessed with
My son had a severe egg allergy, so I tried everything I could find that might help improve his constitution.
● Herbs... I grew 55 different kinds myself.
Back then, my place was full of herbs, from the balcony to the living room.
We ate Italian food every single day (lol).
●Macrobiotics...I was thorough, using only plant-based ingredients, even for the dashi stock.
Back then, our dinner table was brown every day. Of course, our staple food was brown rice.
● Making cheesecake... I changed the measurements gram by gram and baked every day until I reached my ideal recipe. Once I was satisfied, I stopped (lol).
● Various spiritual things (Animal Fortune Telling, Mayan Calendar, birth dates, meditation, etc.)
● Games, pachinko, slots, stocks, forex, hanafuda, mahjong, etc.
I love games and gambling of any kind. I'll stay up all night doing them.
I even once received a job offer from a pachinko parlor.
But since it was purely a hobby, I decided not to make it my job (lol).
Lately, I find note more fun than games☆
Currently, I only do trading.
● Manga, romantic psychology research, etc. I have many hobbies. I get so obsessed that I forget to eat and sleep.
● Personality
Thank you for reading this far.
As you can see, I have a personality that gets obsessed easily.
Once I get into something, I go all the way! I pursue it until I'm satisfied.
I even wonder myself, why do I have so much passion?
I do everything with all my might, always taking things seriously.
Maybe I'll aim to appear on Jounetsu Tairiku someday (lol).
When I'm not obsessed with something, my brain is turned off.
I'm quite spacey and do something foolish every single day.
When I say, 'Mom is a bit of an airhead,'
My son corrects me, saying, 'Airhead is a cute way to put it. You're just a klutz!' (lol)
Even though I'm like this, I hope you'll continue to keep in touch with me.
Looking forward to it (^▽^)/
