[Daily Life] A Story of My 8-Year-Old Daughter's Real Day

Hello! This is Rokuroku.

Previously, in an article introducing my family, I introduced my daughter as a “Berserker”.

This time, I will look back on a day in the life of that Berserker.

*A Berserker is said to be a "mad warrior," "a fierce fighter who battles in a rage," or "a character who loses their reason in exchange for power."

6:00 AM

VS Sleepiness

It is morning.

However, the Berserker cannot wake up on her own.

The fatigue from last night's fierce battle still remains.

She is carried from the second floor to the first floor by Dad or Mom.

Forced, Dad and Mom's quest has already begun.

Her eyes are closed, but she is occasionally smiling.

"You're awake, aren't you (lol)"

6:30 AM

VS Breakfast

It takes so long for her to start eating...

Just when I think she's finally started,

she takes one bite and watches TV.

She takes another bite and watches TV again.

Every morning is a race against time.

7:10 AM

VS School Commute Group

"Five more minutes!"

"I'm still okay!"

You shouldn't believe words like those.

In the end, it's down to the wire every day.

She puts on her backpack and heads to her school commute group.

Morning

VS Studying

At school, she's full of energy with her friends.

But when the bell rings, she switches gears.

I will listen carefully to the teacher and do my best in my studies.

She is a berserker at home, but apparently she is surprisingly responsible at school (lol).

Lunchtime

School lunch time.

She is busier chatting than eating.

VS Swimming Pool

Swimming time.

She struggled at first, but she has gradually started to be able to swim.

She is now the best in the family.

Night

VS Mom

It's dinner time.

Just like in the morning, she's at a leisurely pace.

"Eat faster!"

"Get in the bath faster!"

Mom's relentless barrage of attacks.

Mom the Mage's spells, "Loud Voice" and "Wave of Anger," are activated.

It doesn't seem very effective.

8:00 PM

VS Bath Time

"I don't want to take a bath."

She was resisting just a moment ago... but the second she gets in.

Laughing.

I wonder what that resistance from earlier was all about (lol).

9:00 PM

VS Bedtime

"I'm not sleepy yet."

She says that while getting into her futon.

But she looks sleepy.

Even so, she won't sleep.

As a parent, I've reached my limit.

Special Skill: "Trance"

Suddenly, her energy is at MAX.

Singing.
Talking.
Laughing.

And then... five minutes later, she's in dreamland.

Berserker, today's quest is complete.

A child's day is truly lively.

It seems the same every day, yet every day they grow a little bit.

I'm sure in a few years, I'll look back on this chaos with nostalgia.

So today, too,

I, as her father, will secretly record the Berserker's quests.
