Record of the 10th day of daily Note updates
Hello, this is Kotoe. Today marks the 10th day since I started updating my Note daily.
So far, I am enjoying writing, and I have a feeling I will be able to keep it up.
Why is that?
It is because my purpose when writing my Note is 'for my present and future self'.
Actually, about 10 months ago, I started with the intention of updating every day, but
I ran out of steam halfway through and ended up giving up.
Back then, I gradually started to tie myself down, thinking, 'If I'm going to do this, I have to write something substantial,' or 'I must write!'
Fundamentally, I believe writing should be free.
I think you should just write freely whenever you want to write.
Even if the words seem to lack substance, the moment you sublimate your inner thoughts into the form of writing, they truly 'exist'.
I believe they 'exist' with their own unique character.
So, you should just enjoy expressing yourself freely and at your own pace♪
The reason I wanted to write on Note again is that I wanted to leave a record of 'now' for my future self.
When I look back on today from the future, I want to be able to think, 'Oh, so that's what I was thinking.' Therefore, I intend to leave records of my daily life just like a diary.
Since my future self and my past self will surely have different ways of thinking, I wanted to preserve the moments that can only be experienced now.
So, while I am writing for my future self (though sometimes that's not the case), there is still an intention behind the Note I write, just as before, and I try to keep it as 'writing that makes you feel just a little more positive' .
This is partly due to my personality, and probably because I'm not good at 'dark and muddy writing.' If I'm going to write or read something, I'd rather it be positive.
With that said, thank you for reading the writing I did for myself.
