[Results Announcement] #LookAtMyCuteChild
Hello, I'm Aruron, someone who wants to interact with all sorts of people on note, but is socially awkward. Everyone, please share some of your social skills with me.
The project I proposed, [#LookAtMyCuteChild], has now concluded successfully!
Thank you all so much for your many entries!
There were a total of 54 entries. Amazing... It really shows that everyone has someone they love so much they just have to show them off.
There were so many wonderful works overflowing with love, and it made me feel very happy. There were quite a few brave souls who submitted multiple entries, and I thought, 'Wow, love is incredible.'
I have checked the hashtag for the submitted works and added them to a magazine. For those that didn't include a citation of the project article, I have contacted them individually and politely asked, 'If there are any issues, I would appreciate it if you could let me know' (thank you to everyone who readily agreed).
Now, here is the main point.
I, Aruron, set up prizes for this project and have also conducted the judging.
[Prizes]
Grand Prize (1 person): Support (estimated around 1,000 yen) + Aruron will write a note creator introduction (including a nickname).
Excellence Award (approx. 2 people): Support (estimated around 500 yen each) + Aruron will write a note creator introduction (including a nickname).
[Judging Criteria]
Aruron's own judgment, prejudice, and personal taste (number of likes and followers will not be considered)
I just can't decide.
Honestly, I never expected this many entries, and I never thought it would be so hard to judge because every single one was so wonderful!
But, since I set up prize money (support), I have to judge them seriously. That is the responsibility of the organizer, after all.
Here is what I focused on during the judging process (in order of priority from top to bottom):
How well the affection is conveyed
How silly/foolish it is
Aruron's own judgment, prejudice, and preferences
1. How well the affection is conveyed is a prerequisite.
I think everyone has "lots of affection." That goes without saying. This project can only exist because that affection is there.
So, I first drew the line based on how much you are trying to convey that affection to others, and how strong your will to convey it is.
In that sense, for example, shorter pieces might have felt a little lacking.
2. How silly/foolish it is checked for things like the degree of doting and blindness.
I also wrote a reference article but isn't it silly?
I mean, a man in his 30s is writing things like "Kyaa! So cute!"
Works that feel like they have lost that composure, and in a sense, feel a bit crazy, are close to what I was looking for this time.
This project is not about looking at the quality of the writing or images. In other words, the number of likes or followers, or the effort put into getting people to read to the end, are not direct points (though I do think it's better to have them).
Therefore, rather than wonderful works that are polished as a single piece of writing, works where someone is getting excited all on their own are rated higher in this project.
3. Aruron's own judgment, prejudice, and preferences is the final resort if I couldn't decide based on 1 and 2.
I wrote in 2 that "rather than wonderful works that are polished as a single piece of writing, works where someone is getting excited all on their own are rated higher," but readability and whether or not I can empathize are very important, so drawing the line there was extremely difficult.
Besides, there will inevitably be works that are just as wonderful. My judging ability is limited, so there were many that were hard to choose between.
So, in the end, I decided the awards based on my own sensibilities. I'm sorry about this. Since I am judging alone, I cannot help but exclude personal feelings. Since this is a personal project, please turn a blind eye to that.
...Wait, stop! Don't throw stones at me!
Enough with the talk, shall we get started?
Thank you very much for waiting.
Results announcement!!!
[Grand Prize] MVU (Most Valuable 'My Child Is Cute Right')
Fusa Fusa "My child is cute, isn't she"
The grand prize goes to Fusa Fusa!
They introduce their super cute cat, born in March 2024.
☆Evaluation Points
・The insane level of love, such as "Even the tears that spill out are cute, maybe I should collect them in a bottle" and "To put it modestly, I want you to live for another 5 quadrillion years and meet me in my next life," is incredible.
Contrary to the calm writing style, the sense of losing one's reason due to extreme cuteness is what I found particularly wonderful.
[Excellence Award] Agony, Blood-Spitting, Vocabulary-Loss Award
Leon Saruogi "My child is cute♡"
The first Excellence Award winner is Leon Saruogi!
This is a photo collection of their pet dog, Pocky (Professor Potchy).
☆Evaluation Points
・I felt the doting parent vibe in these three points: the variety of adorable photos, the comments on the photos, and the way the vocabulary in those comments gradually degrades.
In terms of the work's tone, I felt it was the closest to Arlon. The choice of photos is also GOOD.
[Excellence Award] Nation-Toppling Boy Total Affirmation Award
Umetaro "My child is cute"
The second Excellence Award winner is Umetaro!
This is written about their 3-year-old son.
☆Evaluation Points
・The wonderful doting nature comes across through things like fully affirming him as "cute" and a "genius" even when being hurt by him, and stating, "I would like to post images, but I have to refrain because there is a risk that the nation might topple."
It was impressive how you showed such deep affection even without posting photos. It was a work that stood out from the rest.
So, that was the results announcement, which involved a lot of hesitation and agonizing.
For the three winners, I will provide support at a later date and write a note creator introduction (including a nickname thought up by Arlon).
*Since this is Leon Saruogi's second time, I will keep the nickname as is and write a new introduction.
But honestly, I would love to give an award to everyone!
That is how wonderful every single one of these "my children" are!
Therefore, I am awarding an Honorable Mention to all submitted works!
There are no supplementary prizes! Sorry!
[Honorable Mention] All submitted works (in order of posting date)
*I counted them visually about three times, so I don't think there are any issues, but if by any chance there is someone who says, "My article isn't included! You jerk!", please let me know privately. I will correct it while prostrating myself.
I will keep the magazine up, so please continue to enjoy all the "my children" in the future!

That concludes the results announcement!
To repeat, thank you very much for all the submissions!
This project was held in collaboration with Bolshack Hibiki Dragon's [#Emo1GrandPrix] (submissions for this have also closed).
Thanks to this collaboration, I believe many people learned about us and submitted their entries.
Thank you very much, Bolshack Hibiki Dragon!
