MUJI Week has started, but...

I'm Aifuru, the type of person who checks if other manufacturers are selling items recommended during MUJI Week for a cheaper price.

To be honest, MUJI has been generally overpriced lately... While they do release new products, the number of things you 'can only buy at MUJI' has decreased. If anything, it feels more like MUJI is imitating other companies' products.

Take a kitchen scale, for example.

It costs 3,490 yen including tax, but Tanita has one with almost the same performance. That one is 2,664 yen.

Hmm, considering I can buy it anytime, I feel like I don't necessarily have to buy it at MUJI.

Conversely, something I felt was worth buying at MUJI is the 'tablet case'.

For me, working on a tablet while out and about, a tablet case is a necessity. The MUJI tablet case is simple yet has enough storage capacity to fit a mouse and keyboard, and it's a vertical bag that's easy to take out of a backpack. There are tablet cases on Amazon too, but since they are often labeled for elementary school students' tablets, the designs aren't to my taste, or they are built too sturdily and are expensive, so the MUJI tablet case wins out.

Many people on YouTube are introducing recommended products to buy during MUJI Week, but these days I feel it's better to check if there are cheaper products with similar designs and better functionality available elsewhere before buying.
