[Thank you for completing the 100 poems] Revival 🍁 Autumn Haiku 100-Knock 🌕 Until 9/7
Last week, I squeezed in some time
to brainstorm for my Halloween project 🎃
I realized that when I don't have that kind of time,
I end up pushing myself
too hard.
For the Halloween 🎃 project, I'm looking for
haiku, tanka, senryu, and dodoitsu,but...
(*´･ω･)...Huh??
I've been away from the haiku community for so long that
it's laughable how I can't write a single line 🥹✨
I guess if you don't train your haiku muscles,
they just go soft... 🥲
What should I do? 🥹
Then, something suddenly came to mind...
↓ The "Haiku 100-Knock" that used to be popular in the Min-Hai community back in the day ✨
It was already 3 years ago! 😳
*I wasn't the one who came up with it.
It's a game where various people take turns hosting
and writing 17-syllable poems in the comment section.
By the way, my poems from back then were...
Starting my moon-viewing diet tomorrow
Fragrance in the backyard, osmanthus for you
Autumn chill, mapo tofu delivered to you
Moonlight invites the sleeping child to dream
Though far away, one moon shared with you
Before I knew it, over 80 poems, the waxing moon
Full moon also putting on pale makeup tonight
By the way, back then,
when I woke up the next morning, the 100 poems were already finished ✨
Since it's practice, it's okay to make mistakes, and
by creating more and more,
you'll build up your haiku muscles! 🤗
