[A Haiku from a Photo/Picture] Song of the Goddess
The currently trending haiku from a photo/picture.
I've started collaborating with Chiyo-san's illustrations!
So, I'd like to compose a haiku ٩(๑•̀ω•́๑)۶
Clouds rising, Eirene sings a cannon blast

*Clouds rising... A summer seasonal word. It refers to cumulonimbus clouds. It's autumn now, but the illustration looks like a summer scene, so I made it a summer haiku.
*Eirene... Refers to Eirene, the goddess of peace in Greek mythology.
Among Chiyo-san's illustrations, this one is the most popular for this project. It looks like she is shouting something from the sky to the whole world. Like, from the sky where there are no borders, blow away the wars where people are pointlessly distorting each other!
When I searched for the goddess of peace, Eirene came up. Since the name is elegant, I had her sing, and like a cannon, she fires the hammer of God at those who disturb the peace. It is beautiful as if singing, yet there is the overwhelming power and awe of a god.
I couldn't think of a tanka, so I tried writing a haiku with the help of a seasonal word (。・ω・)ノ゙
The thrill of a collaboration is that it opens new doors, making you want to use words you don't usually use (´ー`*)
Chiyo-san, thank you for letting me collaborate with your wonderful illustration❣️
