Title: The white thing under the Nemophila

"They really existed!"

With the toe of my rain boot,
I pushed aside the blue flowers.

Nemophilasea, spread out as if the sky had been transferred directly to the ground.
Within it,

there was one color that was different.
White.

At first, I thought it was just a stone.

But, as I got closer, I understood.

It was a

bone.Small, light,

but certainly part of something.
"Look."

I turned around,

but no one was there.
Even though they should have been right next to me until just a moment ago.

The wind blows.

The Nemophila sway.

The blue moves like waves.

At that moment, something touched my feet.

I cast my gaze downward.

The white things

had increased just a little more than before.
Not just one.

Two, three.

As if,

they were slowly rising from beneath the ground.
"…Let's stop."

My voice came out.

I don't know who I was directing it at.

But I felt a presence listening somewhere.

"They really existed!"

The voice echoed once more.

This time, much closer.

But, there was no figure to be seen.

The blue of the Nemophila

grew a little deeper.
The boundary between the sky and the ground

became blurred.
The bone was no longer moving.

It was just there.

But, for some reason, I knew.

I hadn't found this.

I had been found.



Rain bootsInside, my feet felt cold.Without looking back,

I slowly started to walk away.
The sea of Nemophila

swayed as if nothing had happened.
Beneath it,

something was still waiting quietly.
