[Juno Edition] Deciphering Karma through Mythology: How to Stop Fearing Asteroids
It's RionðŸ
This is the fourth installment of the asteroid seriesâïž
This time, I'll be bringing you the mythology of the asteroid 'Juno'ð
This is our first female character, isn't it?ð
Now, what kind of messy drama will we have this time?ð
Let's get right into itð
1. Mythology, Astronomy, and Astrology
'Juno' is an asteroid discovered in 1804âïž
It is located between Mars (fighting energy) and Jupiter (expanding energy).
In mythology, she is the 'legitimate wife' of the supreme god Zeus, and the goddess who governs marriage and rightsð
Looking at this astrologically, it becomes 'a star that uses aggressive power to protect one's own rights (position)'ð±
'I did all this, yet...ð¢' or 'I can't forgive being treated like thatð€'âthis Juno is the one in charge of the 'valve for anger against unfair treatment' in human relationships and social settingsð
2. Juno Mythology
<The 'Ultimate Title' of the Supreme God's Legitimate Wife>
Juno (Hera) is, above all, the epitome of a noble 'legitimate wife'ðª
But her husband, Zeus, is incredibly unfaithfulð
<The Queen of Taking It Out on Others and the Targeted Hero Hercules>
Every time Zeus cheated, Juno's wrath was directed at the 'other woman' and 'her children'ð
The biggest victim of that is the hero Hercules himselfð
(You again?ð€£)
Juno's revenge started even before Hercules was born.
Harassing him by delaying his birth was just the beginning; when he was a baby, she attempted a genuine assassination by throwing 'two giant venomous snakes' into his cradleð±
(Though Hercules survived by crushing them with his bare handsðŠ)
<Madness and the Impossible Tasks Known as the '12 Labors'>
What's even more brutal is what happened after Hercules grew up.
Juno drove Hercules, who had once built a happy family after marrying, into a state of 'madness'ð€
Having lost his sanity, he committed an irreversible tragedy by killing his own beloved first wife and children with his own handsð
To atone for that sin, he was forced to take on the famous'12 Labors'.
In reality, this wasan endless harassment campaign with Juno pulling the strings behind the scenesð
<The Worst Baton Pass Leading to the Tragedy of Nessus>
And this is the point that connects to the previous 'Nessus Edition'âïž
After finishing the 12 Labors and washing away his sins, the woman Hercules took as his new wife was Deianira.
Just when it seemed he could finally be happy, he encountered the centaur Nessus during his travels.
Deianira, believing it to be a 'potion to win back his love,' had Hercules wear a garment stained with Nessus's blood (poison), which led to his death...
Ultimately, it leads to that hopeless ending where she, in despair, takes her own life as wellðŠ
<The Loop of 'Victim Mentality' That Diverts Attention from the Essence>
Juno's revenge, which didn't rest even once until Hercules diedð±
Instead of attacking 'Zeus who betrayed her,' she relentlessly struck at 'those around her (the children) who threatened her rights.'
In the end, it seems that in mythology, Juno just kept repeating the same things over and over while remaining trapped by her titleð
This is a common story, but it's the pattern of resenting the other person instead of the one who cheated.
'The person at fault is them, yet the target of the attack is directed elsewhere'âit is the very runaway nature of victim mentalityâïž
If you ask me, rather than the person who cheated being at fault, I think it's you for choosing that partnerð
An 'attachment' in one place can, in a roundabout way, drive even completely unrelated people like Deianira to their deaths...
This is the terrifying nature of the Juno energy.ð±
3. Juno Astrological Interpretation
The existing astrological meaning of Juno is:
ã»Assertion of rights, equal relationships
ã»Dominance and submission in partnerships
ã»Anger at unfair treatment
ã»The belief that one is a 'victim'
<Dependency in the name of 'logical correctness'>
Juno is a star that seeks 'fair treatment'âïž
But its true nature is an intense dependency (clinging) that says 'I have no value unless I am recognized by the other person'âïž
The more you insist 'I am right,' the more you are actually clinging to the other person and binding yourself.ð
<The 'poison of revenge' spread unconsciously>
When victim mentality is strong, Juno's energy runs wild as 'taking it out on others'.
Just as it led to Deianira's ruin in the myth, when you use your 'correctness' as a shield, you start a domino effect that makes even unrelated people around you miserable.ð±
<The framework of 'roles'>
'I must protect this position,' 'Because there is a contract'
That obsession with 'correctness' might actually be what is binding you, not the other person....
Until you let go of that attachment, Juno will keep showing you the phenomenon of 'unreasonable reality' over and over again.ð
4. Juno Resolution Method
For me, Juno is in the 6th house, and
the 6th house is interpreted as 'tasks,' 'practical work,' and 'concrete roles'.
Actually, to be honest, I haven't had many good ways of quitting jobs.ð
I was able to have an 'amicable resignation' from the telephone fortune-telling company I just left,
but before that, it was really quite disastrous.ð€£
At the company I worked for in my 20s, a high school part-timer was being sexually harassed by her supervisor, and when she consulted me, I reported it to headquartersâïž
And then, the bullying started from thereð
Well, what we would call power harassment today, but in the end, everything on my desk had been cleared awayð±
I was strong-willed, so I thought, 'I can't stay in a company like thisð¢' and quit, but in my case, I often found myself being bullied by groupsð
Well, thanks to that, I was toughened up, but the reason why so many such things happened was, in the end, partly because I had Juno in the 6th house, and also because I had many reunions with karmic opponents due to my Sun, Saturn, and Nessus in Gemini in the 12th house opposite that Junoð
So, there was likely the challenge of liberation from authority and oppression (Nessus) by an organization like a company, and for me personally, there was also the challenge of letting go of 'dependency' and 'attachment' (Juno) to that placeâïž
And you know, as you can see from the Juno myth,
Juno starts with a 'victim mentality'ð
In my case, starting from the point that reporting the sexually harassing supervisor = 'correct', I ended up with a 'victim mentality' because I was the one being bullied... The supervisor, for his part, was confronted with his faults by my 'sense of justice,' which led to his own 'victim mentality.'
This energy of Juno is about forcing your own values of 'right' and 'wrong' onto othersð
In other words, when the definition of 'equality' is replaced by 'making the other person conform to your own correctness,' conflict is likely to occurâïž
So, unless you reach a state where 'there is no longer a need to judge others to prove your own correctness', the energy of Juno will keep attracting such people to you, 'Look, look, you're still forcing your correctness on others,' 'Notice that you're falling into a victim mentality', it will keep poking at youð±
To put it more simply,
instead of demanding that the other person 'cherish með¢,' the very act of being conscious of the other person is 'dependency' and 'attachment.' So, notice those elements, shift from an 'other-centered' perspective back to a 'self-centered' one, and instead of 'seeking recognition from others,' you should cherish yourselfð
Because being conscious of that person means you are still on the same playing field as themð
It's the same with social media; it's not rare for perpetrators to be exposed online and then become victims themselves.
I've seen comments like 'Don't talk about human rights issues when exposing perpetrators,' but anyone can become a victim or a perpetrator.
And certainly, by being exposed like that, the perpetrator might be given time to think as a victim.
But, if you fear failure, you won't be able to do anything, and because there is failure, you can also move forwardâïž
It's more important to become someone who can make use of that failureâïž
Perhaps in a past life, you might have been in the opposite positionðŠ
Whether it's people bashing others on social media or having a mindset that puts others down, in any case, that will create your own
'undigested emotions.'That is precisely why I think
it is necessary to make an effort to become someone who can think from various angles and see the big pictureð
Humans, just like Juno, are just living according to their own truth at that moment!
It's just that someone else's truth isn't your own truth, that's all.
I think humans are more susceptible to Juno's influence precisely because they lack self-trust or cannot cherish themselves.âšâšâš
Mythology is truly fascinating, isn't it? ð€£
Why is mythology so messy? It's because
it teaches us that humans are messier creatures than they think they are.ð
Honestly, as long as you are ashamed of that messiness, I think that messiness will manifest more than your own intuition. ð
I think it's good to become someone who can laugh and accept every version of themselves. ð
