Creating Systems to Make Life Easier

Every day, there are times when I understand some kind of problem but am unable to take action to solve it.
I'm sure there are many things that could be finished more easily and quickly if we could just create good systems.
Taking a little extra time and effort can be very important.

✅ Temporarily discard daily chores

To create systems that make life easier, you sometimes need a certain amount of uninterrupted time.
In such cases, if you are prepared to temporarily discard all the daily chores you do, you can create that time.
Even things you think you absolutely must do are surprisingly okay to let go of.
After that, you just need to change your mindset and invest that time into building your systems.

✅ Building systems to make life easier

I started creating systems to make life easier back when I was a stay-at-home dad doing everything on my own.
Recently, I've had various chores piling up again, so I think I need to stop these for a moment and figure out how to manage them well with systems.
For example, just like setting up macros to automate Excel entries that I used to do manually, it's surprisingly possible to automate many things.
The same goes for assigning tasks to people; I'll decide what I will do myself and what I will delegate to someone like Person A who is good at it.

✅ Summary

Once you can build these kinds of systems, your daily life suddenly becomes much easier.
To do that, you need a block of time, so I will temporarily discard all the chores I'm usually chased by and commit to building systems.
Once the systems are in place, those tedious and painful tasks disappear, and you can live more easily.
