Resolving Issues with iPadOS 15 and Apple WatchOS 8

I had issues with my Magic Keyboard on iPadOS 15 and problems with the Wallet app on Apple WatchOS 8, but both are now resolved!
Yesterday, I really felt that Apple Support is amazing.
I was able to solve the Apple Watch issue on my own, but I couldn't fix the problem where my Magic Keyboard was being recognized as a US layout despite being a JIS layout.

✅Apple Watch

It turns out the reason the Apple Watch Wallet stopped working was due to the 'AssistiveTouch' accessibility feature in watchOS 8, which allows you to operate the Apple Watch using only hand gestures; this setting also enables Wallet payments via gestures.
However, perhaps because my settings weren't quite right, it seems I couldn't make payments successfully.
In the end, I solved it by changing only the payment function of AssistiveTouch back to manual!

✅iPad Magic Keyboard

I couldn't solve this one on my own either; I tried restarting, turning off Bluetooth, and everything else I could think of, but nothing worked.
So, I decided to book a call with Apple Support.
That day was yesterday, and they called me around noon.
Apparently, they can now remotely view the iPad screen from their end; an unfamiliar cursor appeared, they gave me various instructions, and it was finally resolved!
The cause was also in the accessibility settings: turning off 'Full Keyboard Access' fixed it!

✅Summary

When you have these kinds of issues, it's best to try various things yourself before relying on support.
The reason is that if you rely on support immediately, the potential causes haven't been narrowed down, which can make the phone call take quite a long time.
If you try everything you can think of to rule out possibilities before calling support, it can be resolved in about 5 minutes.
