Sleeping Together

I have three male cats at home.
They are all rescue cats, but each has a different personality.
Cats don't really do anything, but it's mysterious how that 'doing nothing' quality heals people.

✅ All three are different

The oldest, who came to us first, seems to think my wife is his mom; he follows her around all the time and sleeps with her.
The second one to arrive is quite a timid cat and runs away at the slightest sign of fear.
However, he has certified my room as a safe place, so he comes to play often, but he doesn't go as far as sleeping with me.
The black cat who came third seems to like me for some reason, and he always sleeps with me.
As I write this, he is stretched out and sleeping on the bed next to my desk.

✅ Cats know where it's safe

Cats always sleep in comfortable places when they sleep.
On cold days, they sleep in warm, sunny spots, and on hot days, they sleep in cool, air-conditioned rooms or in the shade where the temperature doesn't rise.
They also move away from noisy places to sleep in quiet ones.
Observing them every day, I see they have times when they play, but other than that, they sleep so much that I often think that's all cats really do.
It's also a common story that I end up falling into a deep sleep while petting a sleeping cat, and time just flies by.

✅ Summary

The three cats that came to our home seem to be happy.
I sometimes wonder how their siblings are doing, but if they remained strays, they must be having a harsh daily life.
Thinking about that, I don't want to become a cat, but there are moments when I think I'd like to try being one of the cats that came to our home.
