This time, for those who think, "I don't know where to start" or "I end up giving up halfway," I am proposing a "10-Day Autumn Paper Decluttering Challenge."

2 | Remake unnecessary clear files! Stylish and convenient "Triangle Bookmarks"

Why not put those clear files you no longer use to good use instead of throwing them away?

I have a lot of them, from ones I received as novelties to ones my children brought home at the end of the school term.

Until now, I couldn't find much use for anything other than the "transparent" ones. But it's a waste to just throw them away, so I've been researching ways to reuse clear files lately. I came up with many ideas, but this time, I'll introduce how to make simple "triangle bookmarks."

3 | Researching the "Ideal Way to Spend Time." Let's choose habits to adopt from a morning routine list

Even if I wake up early, I can't think of what to do... Do you have that problem? I usually feel like I haven't used my time well when I haven't decided what to do.

So this time, regardless of whether I will actually do them or not, I wrote down a lot of "routine candidates."

How to use them is...

(1) Decide on a "daily routine" using the list as a reference
(2) Decide on a "day-of-the-week routine" using the list as a reference

I am assuming these two uses.

5 | How to store & use green peppers and eggplants! A story about how a harvest experience became food education

The other day, my family went on a "harvest experience."
My daughter's school puts a lot of effort into food education, so they visit neighbors' fields, plant seedlings, and get to harvest crops. Because of that, she is very interested in vegetables...

This was the first time our family went to harvest vegetables together, and it was wonderful...!

6 | 3 easy sandwiches made with things you have at home

On nice days, taking a packed lunch and spending time outside is a good change of pace, isn't it? I often go out with my mom friends, and sandwiches are something I often bring to the park.

Since we sometimes leave at 9:00 AM and I'm in a rush, I always choose things I can make quickly with ingredients I have at home.

This time, I will introduce our family's staples: "Egg Salad Sandwiches," "Ham and Cheese Sandwiches," and "Tuna and Lettuce Sandwiches."

7 | <Week of 11/4 (Mon)> 4-Loop Housework "Cleaning Edition"

I am proposing an attempt called "4-Loop Housework."

It starts on Monday and ends on Sunday, and you decide on "this week's focus housework (things around the house)" to work on.

It doesn't mean you have to keep doing it all week long.

① Continue until the set content is finished
② Choose three convenient days within the period to do it

It is either one of these.

This week's theme is "cleaning." You clear it if you finish even one thing by Sunday, so there is still time. Why don't you try it with me? ^^

Afterword ─ My first sweet olive

It has become completely cold, hasn't it?
Until a little while ago, when I walked down the street, the scent of sweet olive would drift by.

"Oh, what is this smell!"

Although I was surprised and looking around, I found the tree and it all made sense.

"So this is what a fragrant olive is...!"

There is no scent of fragrant olive in my childhood memories.

That is because, apparently, its northern limit is around the southern part of the Tohoku region. While it seems it can be grown in my hometown of Aomori, it requires quite a lot of care, so I have never seen one at all.

I often see the phrase "scent of fragrant olive" in novels and on TV, but I grew up into an adult without ever knowing what it was.

From now on, I feel like I'll be able to think, "Ah, this time of year has come," and I'm excited because I feel like I've gained something that everyone else has.

Since I moved to a place with the exact opposite climate, these kinds of surprises are very much a part of daily life, and I am becoming more and more knowledgeable about plants and insects. It's a secret that in my childhood, I almost never saw that black insect in Aomori, and when I first saw one, I thought it was a gross female rhinoceros beetle.
