The heart shrinks when you doubt, and expands when you believe | Series: Asking Tenpu-san Again Today, Vol. 22
Hello, it's Rina-wan🐾
Have you been properly believing in yourself lately?
Let's chat with Tenpu-san again today about how to make your heart expand!
🐾Tenpu-san's words for today
Because you try to think from the perspective of doubt, you have become a small existence.
Yeah, these are Tenpu-san's words.
They really hit home, don't they...?
I also sometimes find myself thinking, "Am I really on the right path?" or "Will I be okay like this?"
At times like that, my tail and ears lose their energy, and my mood just shrinks.
It's like the air has leaked out of my heart.
🐾The things that can't be proven are often the most important
My owner (Rina Nomura) seems to have studied difficult things, like philosophy, psychology, biology, and... all sorts of other studies... She says she thought seriously about life from many different angles.
But life is actually a mysterious thing that is vibrant and moving. She said that trying to explain it all with "logic" or "proof" made her feel strange, as if it were being cut into pieces.
In other words, "believing" might be something you feel with your "life" rather than your head.
🐾Yoga teachings also say "to become one"
Also, my owner once went to India to practice yoga.
Yoga isn't just about twisting your body; there is also a philosophy that considers the "mind and body as one."
It's a natural feeling for us dogs, but the head, body, and soul are all connected.
It seems that when she did that, she trusted her body's voice and sensations completely, and lived in a good way.
🐾In business, you get more engine power when you believe
This is just my observation, but when people are "believing" in something, their expressions and movements are so much brighter!
People who move forward thinking, "This idea is going to work!" seem to give off such a good vibe, don't they?
Conversely, when everyone is just doubting, thinking, "What if I fail?", they all get stiff.
Perhaps believing means fully accepting others, yourself, and even the "yet-to-be-seen future."
🐾 Believing is wagging your heart's tail
Because you "believe," the path opens up—
If Tenpu-san says so, it must be true.
Lately, I've been thinking that believing might just be "wagging your heart's tail." Instead of walking around scared, if you walk with your tail held high, the scenery is bound to look different, right?
So today, let's try to truly believe in that something inside us that is "vibrating" with life.
Now, which way is your tail wagging right now?

They say Tenpu-san was an amazing person who influenced the likes of Shohei Ohtani, Kazuo Inamori, and Konosuke Matsushita.
But his words are so simple and warm.
If today's words reached your heart even a little—
I'll wag my tail in joy, woof!
