What would you do if you didn't have tomorrow?
Something that suddenly crossed my mind
while I was eating a rice cracker earlier.
【What would you do if you didn't have tomorrow?】
Today, I was reading various people's threads and note articles.
My mind was feeling foggy about how to live from here on out.
So, wanting to switch gears, I meditated for about 3 minutes,
and then remembered what I needed to do next and started moving.
Hmm. I don't feel quite like myself.
I was invited to a drinking party by people from the company I left at the end of last year,
and I had a fun time last night.
(It was like a kickoff meeting with almost all the members.)
It's rare to invite a temp worker who has already left.
They really are something.
My husband praised them.
I didn't drink that much,
but I've had a slight headache since this morning.
I didn't want to take medicine, so I tried to endure it,
but I'm reaching my limit...
That's right, let's try this!
Thinking I'd put Ayurveda to use,
I mixed turmeric into hot milk and drank it.
And then,
the headache disappeared.
I was surprised.
Turmeric = Ukon
Basically, they refer to the rhizome of the same plant (Curcuma genus of the ginger family). The difference lies in the name and usage; turmeric is the English name and is often used as a 'spice/coloring agent' for things like curry, while Ukon is the Japanese name and is often used as a 'herbal medicine/health food (supplement/hangover remedy).'
I suppose it's precisely because I experience these things firsthand
that I'm able to share them with others.
It might depend on my condition,
but this time it worked well for me.
I'm grateful.
Ayurveda really is amazing.
To get back to the topic,
I must say, I came up with quite a grand theme.
【What would you do if you had no life left tomorrow?】
No one knows when their life will end.
tomorrow never knows
Suddenly, a Mr. Children song comes to mind.
I wonder if Sakurai-san also thought about things this way.
What would I do first?
・I think I would write down everything I know and everything I'm glad I experienced on note.
Categorized by general genre.
・In the activities I will be doing from now on,
I will share them naturally with people I have a connection with. I will expand that space.
Come to think of it, my mentor once said:
“I want to spread ripples of happiness.”
I met my mentor and learned that
growing one's soulis the reason why people live.
Since then, I have faced my own heart,
got to know the parts of myself I didn't want to see,
and moved forward while crying and struggling.
And now,
I am ina state of happinessI never expected.
It's not about having a lot of money, but
richness of heart.
Days where I wake up with gratitude
and fall asleep with gratitude.
Of course, there are still times when my heart feels unsettled,
but I don't lash out recklessly anymore,
and above all, my heart is calm and stable.
As for the past, my heart was in turmoil behind my smile.
Now, I am called a healing presence.
If you decide you want to change, you can change.
It's okay. From the moment you think that,
you have already begun to change.
— Mind, Body, and Soul
The joy of being fulfilled in all aspects —
If I, as I am now,
can become even a smallripple of happiness, then I will spread that ripple.
If that becomes a hint to resolve someone's confusion or a spark that gives them courage,
and if it enriches someone's life even a little,
I think that would be a very joyful thing.
I would be happy if the ripples spread further from there.
It is said that one person's happy feelings
have a positive influence on ten people around them.
That is an amazing thing, isn't it?
I don't want the connection I was directly taught by my mentor
to end with just me,
and it must not end.
My mentor said one more thing.
If you feel gratitude,
then go out and do it for others (through what you have learned).
That is how you repay me (your mentor).
And my grandmother, who lived to be 101, used to say:
“Accumulate virtue,”
“Give to others,”
“Que sera, sera.”
My grandmother, who lived a tumultuous life,
was always bright, strong, and smiling.
People say I resemble her.
The very fact that I am living like this
is not something to be taken for granted.
It is a grateful and precious thing.
I will record what I am learning in this life
and what I have come to know about love
here on this Earth.
I will keep upgrading it constantly
right up until the time I am no longer in this world.
Oh, this is not a place to get sentimental.
A story until I head to the next star ⭐️
Thank you for reading this far
😊
