[Essay] I stopped trying to become 'someone' without a profile
There is something I have wanted to try for a long time.
No profile, no social media presence.
Just an account that is no one,
quietly leaving behind my own feelings.
I wonder when it started...
I began to feel a sense of suffocation,
as if I had to be 'someone'.
To meet someone's expectations,
I would dress myself up,
or try to act a certain way
to fit the image of an account.
I wanted to be free
from that kind of tightness.
So, I thought it might be okay
to have at least one account
like this.
Who are you and what do you do?
What is your niche?
How many followers do you have?
There is no need to answer such questions.
Perhaps...
those questions themselves
are spells that try to trap me
in a small box.
Even without defining myself
by titles or achievements,
I am still here.
So there is no profile,
no self-introduction.
Like, 'Who are you?' 😂
Once I was freed from the invisible pressure
of 'I have to fill out my profile,'
I became able to write
surprisingly freely.
A me without titles,
a me who is no one.
It is okay to have a place
where I can be my true self like that.
I laughed a little,
thinking it was like being an invisible person.
That is not bad either.
Not insisting on my presence
as much as I can,
just... simply being there.
Without being showered with someone's evaluation,
I will quietly leave my thoughts behind.

In the first place, the reason I started note is
very simple.
It is not that I wanted
a lot of 'likes' or numbers.
I just hope my words
reach someone's heart.
That is my modest wish.
I never wanted to forget that starting point.
That's why I stopped
shouting on social media, 'I wrote a note! Check it out!'
about it.
I hope it reaches the people
it's truly meant for, naturally.
Someone who happens to wander into this note
might catch a glimpse of my words.
Maybe their heart warms up just a little,
or they think, 'Ah... I get that.'
Even if it's just one person,
if they encounter my words
and feel something,
that is more than enough.
I don't need a big reaction.
It's okay if no one praises me.
I want to face my own heart as it is
and weave my words.
I don't need a name, a face, or a background.
Just the 'writing' itself.
For me,
perhaps note is that kind of
'place'.
Today, I am here, remaining my nameless self,
quietly breathing.🌱
Things I would write in a diary,
or words I would pour out
during journaling.
I hope I can encounter
such unadorned words.
