A Realistic Daily Life with a 3-Year-Old ASD Child and an 11-Month-Old Daughter (3/3 - 3/9)
Thank you for visiting the page of a science-major mom raising a 3-year-old son who still only talks a little and a 1-year-old daughter😊
-coming home-
Both adults and children return to themselves.
Being able to be your true self.
Through no+e,
I hope to share hints for that.
Kurosaki Nao-san recently named me "Rike-san." Thank you very much.
I think it's a hassle to convert to katakana, so please feel free to call me "Rike" in hiragana💐 Maybe I'll change my account name eventually?
Sunday is "This Week's Diary" day.
The highlight of this week is "Daughter's first steps!".
Well then, here you go.

3/3 (Sun)
Daughter's first Doll Festival
Since it's Peach Day, we had a feast today. Extra-large clams bought at the fishing port and extra-large fried shrimp.
And also chirashi-zushi with the Emperor and Empress dolls.
My daughter eating eggs enthusiastically and my son devouring the fried shrimp.
Are they too cute? Eat a lot and grow big🥺

as soon as my son saw this,
he pointed at the Hina dolls🎎 and looked so happy,
so I'll call it a success lol
3/4 (Mon)
Son and daughter's collaboration wave
The children who were watching "Inai Inai Baa!" waved goodbye at the end of the program.
My son said "bye-bye" out loud. My daughter clumsily waved her arms around. Are they too cute?
By the way, this was the first time my daughter waved goodbye at the TV.
3/5 (Tue)
Itadakimasu debut and underwear debut
My daughter clapped her hands for "itadakimasu" on her own for the first time. My son tried wearing underwear for the first time.
A few hours later, my son said "shii shii shii," so I went to the toilet. He had successfully leaked🤣
But thank you for telling me.
Both of them are growing so fast! 🎉
3/6 (Wed)
I can go into the exam room by myself
Regular dental checkup.
Since he turned 3, he goes into the exam room alone.
Maybe it was worth practicing saying "Ah!" and "Ee!" in the car on the way there, because he cleared it without any issues! 🌟
However, it turns out he needs a preventative procedure to fill the grooves in his teeth, so we have to go back three more times. Rolling my eyes.
3/7 (Thu)
My daughter walks. My son does a full-speed sprint of love.
My daughter walked for the first time! Two steps. Wobbly. Thump. A feast for the eyes! 🥹
As soon as my son spotted his preschool teacher, he sprinted at full speed.
He dove right between her legs with a "wham!" and gave her a hug. ❤️
Then he pulled the teacher's hand toward the classroom.
So, so cute...
In class, he was able to answer "I'm thwee" (3 years old) and "One" when asked "How many strawberries are there?"
He answered with his voice (and he was right!), which was so moving. 🥹
3/8 (Fri)
Happy Birthday! 🎂
My daughter is 1 year old. She walked 5 steps today.
With a big grin, she went wobble... wobble-wobble, sway, wobble.
Isn't that cute just in text? In person, she's 100 times cuter.
When I told my son, "Today is your little sister's birthday," his eyes sparkled, he clapped, and dashed to the refrigerator. 💨
Then, he looked inside and said,
"It's not theeeere! 🤷♂️" (literally doing that pose).
It seems he thought he would be able to eat cake, lol.
Little sister can't eat cake yet, so there isn't any.
Too bad for him, lol.
3/9 (Sat)
Super excited for Grandma and Grandpa
My parents came over to celebrate my daughter's birthday.
My son was super excited from the morning.
"Grandpa~~~? Grandma~~~? Vroom vroom?"
(Loosely translated: Are Grandpa and Grandma coming? By car? Are they here yet?)
He kept repeating this.
Both my son and daughter were thoroughly spoiled, got toys, and were completely satisfied.
This is what a week in the life of a science-mom looks like.
【Last week】◁【All previous diaries】▷【Next week】
I had so many episodes I wanted to write about this week that I couldn't narrow it down to just one per day😁💦
Thank you so much for coming to read my diary, where I'm always just gushing about how cute my kids are, like a total doting parent😊
I hope you enjoy it. 【

I have also created a Coconala page so that I can respond to requests like "I want to change the items" or "I want it made with girl illustrations." I apologize that the page is still a work in progress, but I am posting it here.
