My 5-year-old ASD son went to individual therapy for the first time in a while...

My son went to individual therapy for the first time in about 4 months?
I want to record what he was like✍️
First, he was trying his best to tell them all the things he learned to do over these past 4 months (so cute🥺)
👦 I can ride a bike now! Isn't that amazing!
👦 I moved up a level in swimming class!
👦 I can read hiragana!
👦 I can write by myself! I can do it on my own!
👦 I made this at daycare (shows an ogre mask👹)
🧑🏫 Do you remember the classroom song?
👦 I know it! 🎵A-I-U-E-O, KA-KI-KU-KE-KO!
And so on, he was just full of confidence✨
I was impressed by how much he had grown in just 4 months.
Even during the one-hour lesson, my son focused on various tasks and was praised a lot.
👦 I'll come back!
It seems he had a very fun time.
However, while I am happy about my son's growth, as a mother, I feel a bit conflicted.
👩 Huh? He grew this much while he wasn't going to therapy, right? Does that mean he can grow without going?
👩 Is it too easy for my son?
👩 Instead of coming here once a week for an hour, would it be better to work on things at home for 10 minutes a day?
Oh my.
A mother's worries never end.
But I want to respect my son's wishes.
So, for a while, I think I'll let him attend on an irregular basis, just booking sessions whenever he says, "I want to go!!"
Ah, if only there were two of me... haha
