[1 year 3 months old] I can even take care of my big brother. A summary of my daughter's growth

Well then, today is a record of my daughter's growth 🐰
My daughter is currently developing typically.

That said, she has characteristics like:
　☑︎She doesn't make eye contact easily.
　☑︎She hardly has any stranger anxiety.
　☑︎She is good at playing by herself.
so,

If she were to be told she has a "developmental disability" when she turns about 2 years old,
I wouldn't be surprised at all 😂

Even so, I do feel that herunderstanding of language and thingsis faster than my son's.

She even hands clothes to my son when he starts dawdling while getting dressed, as if to say, "Here, these are your clothes, big brother" 😂

How is her walking coming along?

She has grown even more and can now walk briskly even while wearing shoes!

There are many times when my son holds her hand to escort her, and that sight is just so cute 🐰🐰

As she grows, this section mightcome to an end starting next monthperhaps.

Communication growth

This month, in addition to body language, she has started to appeal by making sounds like "Ah! Ah!"!

How is her understanding of language?

She has started to follow simple instructions.

Things like "Put this in the washing machine,"
"Give that to your big brother,"
"Take off your socks."

And so on; she properly understands and takes action accordingly.

Also, when I point to my nose and ask, "This is a nose. Where is your nose?" she points to her own nose.

Ah, it's unbearably cute...🐰 (Proud parent)

How is her talking?

There isn't much progress.

However, she is vocalizing more, such as saying things that sound like "(The ball) went over there" and "I did it!" ^^

I feel like she says "Papa," but I don't hear "Mama" very often, which is a little sad...lol

My son didn't talk for a long time, so I can't imagine how she will grow from here on out.

I'm a mother who is feeling a little anxious.

Cute moments

Compared to my clingy son, my daughter doesn't act spoiled as often, but recently she has started wanting to eat dinner on Mama's lap.

When she comes to Mama's lap, the one thing she always does is say "Ahhh!" to Mama.

The way my daughter looks up at me and says "ahhh" is just adorable ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡

While I do wish she would eat quietly in her own chair, it's so cute that I'm burning the image into my memory 🐰

Things I'm curious about

Perhaps because she started nursery school this month and enjoyed it, she has stopped the self-harming behavior!

I'm concerned that she seems to have clear speech, but maybe not? but I will patiently wait for her to grow.

Differences from my son

Last month, I wrote about the presence or absence of joint attention, but this month I will record "understanding of language".

As I noted earlier, my daughter perfectly understands instructions like "put it in the washing machine."

When my son was 1 year and 3 months old, he didn't seem to understand things to this extent.

How wonderful it is that she "understands instructions" ✨

I don't know if it's because she's a girl, because she's neurotypical, because she's the second child and growing faster, or just her personality, but I feel she is easier to raise.

This month's hit toys and picture books

🧸 Toy section

This month, sing-along games were a hit!

Although it's not in this picture book, when I sing "Apple Cheeks," my daughter points to her "cheeks" and "eyes." So cute.

📕 Picture Book Edition

The classic "Baby Play Picture Book Series" by Yuichi Kimura

I'm enjoying it with my daughter, who is currently in a "peek-a-boo" phase ^^

My daughter has started at a new nursery school.

When I go to pick her up, she always gives me such a happy, happy, super happy face and asks to be held, which always completely steals my heart 💘

Since my daughter's level of language comprehension has improved, I look forward to enjoying various forms of communication with her this month as well 🌟
