Noto Peninsula Earthquake: How much anxiety must those in areas with little visible damage, not shown on TV, be feeling...

Thank you so much for visiting the page of a science-major mom raising a 3-year-old son who is just starting to talk a little and a 10-month-old daughter.😊

Thank you very much to everyone who watched the charity meditation streaming project for the Noto Peninsula Earthquake that I started on a whim yesterday.

Today, I would like to delve into the background of how I came up with this project.

The inspiration for the meditation streaming project

What changed my mind from thinking, 'I have kids to raise and can't go to the disaster area as a volunteer, so I'll just make a donation,' and led me to plan this charity event was...

reading about the disaster experience of Ayu, one of the founding members of the 'Joint Management Magazine for Convex and Concave'👇

Even if there is no damage, what about the heart...?

After reading about Ayu's realistic state of mind after the disaster, I started to think about how even in areas where there was no visible damage like what is shown on TV,

how much anxiety and stress must those who were hit by the massive shaking be feeling? I began to empathize with them.

A time to put the experience of being saved by meditation to use

That was when I remembered my own experience of being saved by meditation.

I wasn't the most mentally resilient person either, but the reason I am able to live a stable life now is definitely thanks to meditation.

Because so many people are feeling anxious right now, I thought that just as I was saved by meditation in the past, ”perhaps meditation could be of help” I thought.

My side as a mindfulness instructor

Since I usually only write about my side as a mom of an ASD child, some of you might have wondered, 'Why is a science-major mom doing meditation?'

Actually, I hold certifications as a mindfulness instructor and yoga instructor.

I intend to mobilize my experience of being saved by meditation, as well as my experience as a yoga and meditation instructor, to conduct this meditation stream.

If you agree with the purpose, please support me.
