Self-Introduction

It has only been a little while since I started on note, but my followers have been increasing little by little. So, when I looked back at my self-introduction, it was a mess, so please let me rewrite and organize it ✒️

■Name: Yawning Rehab Dog (♂)
■Work History: Physical Therapist
■Family: Energetic Rehab Dog (♀)
■Characteristics: A coward who is bad with change
■Hobbies: Reading, anime, drinking, going to live concerts
■Personality:
Calm and composed (though perhaps not so composed now due to illness...)
■Things I think are good about myself:
High thirst for knowledge (or so I think)

That's about it.

And currently, while continuing to post on note, I am in a position similar to a full-time househusband while controlling my physical condition in preparation for returning to work.

Up until now,
I faced patients as a physical therapist,
and I myself became ill and took a leave of absence,
becoming a patient.

Until now, I was on the side of providing treatment,
and now, I am on the side of receiving treatment,
and I am someone currently on leave of absence due to various conflicts.

Confidence at the level of actions gained through work
Anxiety regarding the necessity of resting, money, and not working

“ A position that knows both sides ”

――From that position, on note, I will share information and ways of thinking that I wanted back then, standing from both perspectives.

On this account,

・Raising awareness about illnesses
・Through my experience, money matters such as leave of absence systems and injury and sickness allowance
・Organizing worries and anxieties
・The reality of life during a leave of absence, and decisions on resigning/returning to work
I will write about these things candidly as someone who has actually experienced them, so that it may be useful to someone.

(Please forgive me if the conversation sometimes goes off-track)

Origin of the name and icon

First, I will explain about "yawning"
As you can see, it's clearly a sleepy-looking dog, right? lol
To conclude, this is my current situation.

I suffer from hypersomnia (narcolepsy).
As you can see, hypersomnia means being sleepy.
However, aren't there people from students to adults who look sleepy?

The big difference is that I fall asleep when I shouldn't be sleeping. I am constantly sleepy, and it feels like I'm falling asleep. The scariest thing was while driving. Since then, I've been too scared to drive...

Next, I will explain about "Rehab Dog"
I will say it again, I am a physical therapist.
In the first place, I think there are people who don't even know what a physical therapist is. Simply put, they are the people in hospitals who do rehabilitation. When explaining to patients, I often explain it as follows.

"That a doctor has judgedthat you must receive rehabilitation, or that it is better to receive itmeans, in terms of numbers, that you are in a minus state. A physical therapist is the one whobrings that back to ±0."

Then what about the dog??
This is simply because I love dogs, that's all. lol

For the above reasons,
Yawning Rehab Dog
I decided to call myself!
Writing it like this, it's very simple, isn't it? lol

Reason for starting

As for the reason for posting,
as I mentioned earlier, as a physical therapist, I believe my mission is to treat patients to a zero state, or bring them close to it.
What is needed for that is

・Staying healthy myself
・Being close to the patients
・Providing better medical care

is what I think.
However, around August of last year, I started falling asleep during rehabilitation more often, and instead of being close to the patients, I started to be worried about by the patients.

However, at that point, I hadn't reached the current diagnosis, and I was single-mindedly thinking "I have to do it...!!", but eventually I couldn't enjoy my hobbies anymore, and I reached my limit.

That's how I finally realized that I was quite far below zero, so I resigned at the end of January 2026, and now I am concentrating on my own treatment.

Now, I have come to think that resting is also important in order to work happily and with confidence. And I believe that this will be the trigger for me to find a good way of working for myself🌱

Through such experiences, I thought that if I could give strength and encouragement to
・People suffering from the same disease
・People who are forced to take a leave of absence / people who are hesitant
I decided toput my experiences into words and share them.

Future content to be posted

As I said at the beginning,I want to focus on sharing information and ways of thinking that I wanted back then, standing from the patient's perspective.

The reason is that when I was really suffering and had no other choice, I would search forever unless the content I wanted to answer appeared. And,there were really few personal experiences, and I didn't know what to do.

Fortunately in this misfortune, I had studied financial planning and money management, so I had a vague idea of the administrative support available and the necessary procedures. Because of that, I am now able to successfully receive public support while focusing on my treatment.

In the future, while pursuing my own interests, I will aim to
・Do things that help others
・Ease someone's anxiety, even if just a little

. I will live by the motto of doing my best and leaving the rest to fate.🌱

I look forward to getting to know you all.🐕

Thank you to everyone who read this.

If you found this even a little interesting, I would be happy if you could follow me or click the 'like' button.
