Report on the "Modern Parent-Child Job Hunting Study Session" | Introducing feedback from high school students and parents
Hello. I am
Rie Sakuragawa, a nationally certified career consultant and parent-child job hunting supporter.
Today, Mr. Mizuno, head of the preparatory school 'Kogakukan', in a collaborative project with
the "Modern Parent-Child Job Hunting Study Session" was held successfully✨
A total of 7 people participated, including high school seniors to college sophomores, and parents of students graduating in 2027. Once again, thank you to Mr. Mizuno and everyone who participated.
We have already received some wonderful feedback, so I would like to share a portion of it!
1️⃣ Feedback from participants
After the study session, we received wonderful feedback from students and parents.
"I was surprised to learn that job offers can sometimes be decided as early as the third year of university."
(High school senior, male)
"My parents told me that 'job hunting starts in the fourth year of university,' so I was surprised to hear that many students start in the summer of their third year. I want to start moving early." (High school senior, male)
"The timing of job hunting and other information was very easy to understand." (Parent)
And we also received this happy message from a high school student via Mr. Mizuno.
"I was able to get a clear outlook on my future, and I had a very good time."

For high school students who are prone to feeling anxious about their career path and job hunting,
the realization of having a clear outlook is a great source of relief.
Receiving comments like this makes me deeply feel that it was truly worth holding this event.
We have received many other comments, so I will introduce them again at a later date.
2️⃣ About today's materials | Will be distributed via membership starting tomorrow

The slide materials used will be released exclusively to members starting tomorrow after making a few adjustments.
I would be happy if those who want to review or those who couldn't make it this time would take a look.
3️⃣ Conclusion
Through this study session, what I felt once again is that
there is still a lack of places where parents and children can correctly understand job hunting. As job hunting becomes earlier, more AI-driven, and more online, the gap in information easily leads to anxiety, and children can be greatly helped just by having their parents' understanding.
Moving forward, I would like to continue creating a third place where parents and children can talk with peace of mind.

🏫 We are accepting requests for "Parent-Child Job Hunting Seminars" for cram schools, parent associations, and educational institutions!
From January 2026 onwards, we plan to hold "Parent-Child Job Hunting Seminars" for educational institutions such as cram schools, parent associations, high schools, and universities.
"Parent-Child Job Hunting Seminar" we are planning to hold.
With the early start of job hunting and the spread of AI interviews, the importance of opportunities for parents and children to think about career paths together is increasing year by year.
We hope to continue expanding these "opportunities for parents and children to grasp the big picture" like this one.
If you are interested or if you are a person in charge considering planning such an event, please feel free to consult with us.
