“Scenery on the way home” Title: “Orange Streetlights”

Verse 1
The backs of strangers flowing past on the station platform
Happy laughter brushes past my ears and fades away
Even though so many people are walking in the same place
Why is it that I feel like I'm the only one inside a transparent box?
Verse 2
My fingertips staring at my smartphone lose their place and stop
The fingertips that should be connected to someone are terribly cold right now
Every time I smile and say "I'm fine," the real me drifts further away
The void in my heart trembled a little in the night wind

Chorus
A shadow being overtaken by the gentle light of the city
If I say "I'm lonely" out loud, it feels like I might break
The street trees dyed in orange tell me the length of my shadow
I don't have to force myself to fit in; this loneliness is also a part of me
This quiet sidewalk before I say "I'm home"
Is the only place where I don't have to lie
Bridge
If I look up, there are clouds cut out between the buildings
That star is also far away, shining all by itself
It's okay to hold onto the frustration of not being able to blend in
This road leading to tomorrow belongs to no one but me
Final Chorus
Even if I have to play "someone" again tomorrow
Right now, in this moment, I want to face my true heart
On the road where the streetlights have begun to glow, I check the ground with every step
Let's go home while holding onto this loneliness
This way home to start tomorrow
Becomes a bridge that heals me little by little
