Me, the Whale, and Merry Xmas

Today, we got scolded by Mom.

She said if we didn't go to sleep early, Santa wouldn't come.

When I said, "I'm not sleepy,"

she said a black Santa would come.

While grumbling to ourselves,

the two of us flopped down to lie on the floor.

We held hands,

and the two of us said, "We're not sleepy, right? We won't get sleepy, right?"

Before we knew it, we drifted off into a dream.

When I realized it, my big brother was wearing a Santa suit,

and the two of us were riding on the back of a whale.

When we looked up at the sky,

we saw Santa's sleigh.

"Big brother, did you become Santa?"

"Huh? You're right! I'm wearing a Santa suit! Why?"

Big brother said, "Maybe I'm going to help Santa?"

"That's not fair, big brother! I want to wear a Santa suit too!"

The whale splashed as it leaped,

I headed toward the island.

When I arrived at the island, I saw a sign.

The sign said "Present Factory".

The elves were busily putting presents into bags.

My brother was Santa Claus with a pure white beard, and I was wearing a Santa Claus outfit too.

I'm putting presents into bags together with the elves.

I helped out!

I hope the presents get delivered, brother.

Yeah! They'll definitely be delivered!

My brother and I

rode a whale boat and arrived at the island,

and helped out with Xmas!

A very mysterious and exciting night.

Santa, we did our best!

"Thank you."

I heard a voice from somewhere.

Was it a dream?
