Connecting people, to the next place

I've landed a new job.
And, for the next stage,
I've decided to change where I live.
A new place.
A new job.
New people.
Little by little, the scenery of my life is changing.
As AI and technology evolve,
jobs that were once done by people
are increasingly being handled by machines.
Perhaps, from here on out,
that trend will not stop.
So then, what is work that only humans can do?
What is it?
I think,
it might be 'connecting people to people'.
Connecting words.
Connecting cultures.
Connecting strangers.
Standing between people who have lived in different places,
bringing them a little closer to each other.
That might be the part that humans will handle until the end,
no matter how much AI evolves.
In my past work,
in my travels, and in my creative projects,
looking back, I think I have always
been interested in what lies
between 'people'.
That is why my next job
is surely an extension of what I have done so far.
It's just that the place is changing.
Changing the foundation of my life,
in a new land, with new people,
I will start a new job.
I don't yet know
what kind of scenery the future me will be looking at.
But,
rather than 'where I live',
'who I meet'.
Rather than 'what I do',
'what I connect'.
While cherishing such things,
I think I will try living in a new place again.
In life,
there are always next chapters.
This time,
what kind of people will I meet,
and what kind of things will I connect?
I'm looking forward to it.
To a new place.
To a new job.
And,
to a new me.
