With my 4-year-old daughter with Down syndrome... No. 1
The other day, we had the nursery school sports day.
Last year, it was held in the gymnasium.
This year, it was under the blue sky—held on the school grounds.
Back then, she started off with a solo dance as soon as it began.
And the moment I dropped her off, she took off running in tears.
Well, as for this year—
We walked from home to the school grounds,
and she waited in line properly until the time came.
And when the time came,
when I left my daughter with the teacher...
She was sitting in her chair properly.
...Huh?
She's actually sitting there!?
Yes, growth! ꉂ🤣w𐤔
Actually, before the sports day,
she was struck by that "frequent visitor"—strep throat,
and she only goes to nursery school two days a week anyway.
(The other days are at the developmental support center)
She shouldn't have had almost any practice...💦
Even so—
She was able to line up for the entrance.
She was able to go to her spot properly.
And then...
She found her dad,
and waved her hands vigorously with a huge smileꉂ🤣w𐤔
My daughter this year,
was in full high-spirits mode from the start (●^▽^●)
As I grinned through the camera lens—
(Wait... maybe she can do it today?)
As that expectation grew,
in the second half—there was a parent-child event!?
Last year, that was the time for her
"one-man dance show" where she was left to her own devices.
This year... what will happen?
She was really into the initial warm-up exercises too,
and my expectations were rising rapidly.
Will she...
be able to make it through the day!?
Just as the excitement of Mom and Dad
was starting to turn into "certainty"—that moment—

Actually... that one tap from you
will triple my grin as a dad ꉂ🤣w𐤔
And if...
you think "I want to support this,"
👉 tips are also a huge encouragement 🙇♂️✨
I will definitely turn those feelings
