29. 'My Gift "Additional Bonus," Which Was Treated as the Weakest, Was Actually the Strongest Skill That Could Obtain Allies, Weapons, and Rewards' - Chapter 29: Blade Resisting the Light
Recap of the previous chapter
Ramzas, the legendary Holy Dual-Swordsman, appeared in the heart of the ancient ruins.
He summoned dozens of light swords, completely dominating all directions.
The allies were forced into a defensive stance, unable to find a breakthrough.
Main Text
The space was enveloped in light as bright as midday.
A single sword falling from the sky could split rocks and pierce shields. But now there were dozens. It was truly a storm of light.
"Guh...!" Ordo's shield creaked.
Instead of sparks, particles of holy light burst forth, scattering brilliance across the floor.
"It won't stop... at this rate, we'll be crushed!" Selene fired an arrow, but it was deflected, and the light swords closed in as if in retaliation.
"Defending and attacking at the same time... this is beyond human limits!" Sophia deployed a magic circle, but her lightning spear was swallowed by the light swords, and her ice wall was slashed to pieces.
Asura gripped his black-silver dual blades, his sweat-drenched palms tightening firmly.
"...Weakest, you say? Don't make me laugh."
A Breakthrough of Darkness and Flame
At that moment, a thunderous roar canceled out everything.
"ROOOOAAAAARRRR!"
Fenrir leaped out, unleashing a wave of darkness from his entire body.
He crushed the incoming light swords with his fangs and tore through the encirclement covering his allies' heads.
"Well done, Lyca!" Asura shouted.
Lyca's eyes shone sharply, and his voice echoed.
"Master, advance! I will tear through the light!"
Meanwhile, Ifrit spread his arms wide, letting out the roar of the Flame Emperor.
"Even if it's a holy sword, I'll burn it to ash!"
A storm of explosive flames swirled, melting the blades of light and pushing them back.
The flames entwined with Asura's dual blades, imbuing them with a crimson radiance.
"--Flash of Crimson and Black!" As Asura swung his blades, a rift appeared in the line of light swords.
The Allies' Coordination
"Let's go!" Leon held up a scroll.
"Tactical Command: Point Breakthrough!"
Responding to his words, the allies' movements synchronized.
Cain's dual swords drew trails of light, and Zeke's shadow blade widened the rift.
Selene's arrows passed through the gap, and Sophia's non-chant magic pierced through with a roar.
Ordo moved forward, protecting the allies' path with his shield, while the light from Milia and Pixie rained down on everyone.
Every bit of coordination connected to Asura's blade.
The Holy Dual-Swordsman's Smile
"Impressive... but still not enough."
Amidst the rain of light, Ramzas smiled slightly.
That smile was not one of hostility, but the smile of someone testing another.
"My trial is twofold. Even after breaking through the offense... can you shatter the defense?"
Behind him, a new group of light swords emerged. This time, there were hundreds.
The entire space became a sanctuary, and tension spread across the faces of all the allies.
"...It's coming, the second stage!" Asura shouted.
Not a single ally averted their gaze, and they prepared to challenge the storm of light.

Afterword
In Chapter 29, I depicted the overwhelming defense and offense of the Holy Dual-Swordsman Ramzas, as well as the setup for the "second stage."
With Lyca (Fenrir) and Phil (Ifrit) acting as the main force and opening up the flow of the allies' attacks, I think the intensity of a full-scale battle has increased.
Ramzas's battle has only just begun.
Next time, we enter a phase where the allies' coordination will be truly tested—how will they break through the storm of light?
"If you were a member of the 'Dawn Contract,' how would you face this overwhelming 'storm of light'?
Would you bet on Fenrir's roar, or entrust it to Ifrit's flames... please let me know!"
