Life with my 4-year-old daughter with Down syndrome...

Golden Week is over, and we're back to our normal routine, but...

My daughter...
catches colds so often💦

The most frequent one lately has been,
as I've written about in my articles,
the "regular visitor" known as
streptococcal infection😱💦

but...

this time, they said it was just a common cold,
and she's got a runny nose🤧

With toddlers...
even when you go to the hospital,
unless it's something specific, it's usually just

"medicine to help with the runny nose"

isn't it💦

And this...

if she takes it at night,

● She struggles at night with mucus and phlegm and can't sleep
● When she wakes up in the morning, the mucus has hardened and blocked both nostrils😱💦

It leads to that kind of situation💦

If she doesn't take it...
she can breathe somehow,
and there's less hardening in the morning💦

Lately, for my daughter,
we've been managing by not giving it to her at night ( •̀∀•́ )✧

...how is it for everyone else?
❓🤔Taking the hardened mucus off in the morning is also...

using a warm towel

to soften it💦
And this...

seems to be painful for her😭💦
Taking the medicine...

is it a secondary disaster!? ꉂ🤣w‪𐤔

As for my daughter...

because she's uncomfortable, she points to her nose☝️

"Take this out!!"

she appeals as if to say💦
And then...

when it's time to change her clothes...

while shaking her full diaper

tap-tap...

tap-tap...
she starts a mysterious dance ꉂ🤣w‪𐤔

Wait,

weren't you feeling uncomfortable just a moment ago!!🤣
Kids are...

even if they're fussy just minutes before...
they suddenly start dancing,

so it's an emotional rollercoaster, isn't it? 😂✨️
But...

when I see her like that,

"I wonder if she's starting to feel better😊"
I feel a little relieved✨️
