Play Presentation Part 2: My 4-Year-Old Daughter with Down Syndrome's Play Presentation

This is a continuation from last time.

Now, for the final performance‼️

The performance is
【The Very Hungry Caterpillar】

My daughter stands by energetically behind the curtain.

Oh‼️👀
Crouching down, covering herself with a cloth...

🎶 Music starts 🎶

The Very Hungry Caterpillar starts singing

When the song for The Very Hungry Caterpillar begins...

My daughter, the caterpillar covered in a cloth...

Started singing‼️ꉂ🤣𐤔

She made a complete comeback⸜(* ॑꒳ ॑* )⸝‼️

Taking off the cloth,
My daughter the caterpillar... starts dancing✨️

She is perfectly in sync with the lyrics,
becoming a hungry caterpillar.

The moment she embraced the atmosphere

Coming out from pictures of various fruits, or dancing while holding a picture of a cake...
The anxious-looking girl from a moment ago is gone.

She has completely made the atmosphere her own🎶

And at the end,

putting on wings—
she turns into a butterfly and flies around...

......Oh💦

She flew off ignoring the orderꉂ🤣𐤔

The reason I almost cried

Honestly, I was nervous.

But,
she took in the atmosphere,
interpreted it in her own way,
and expressed herself.

That just filled my heart.

During the final performance,
I really almost cried😭

🌱 What I realized at this play presentation

There is something I felt strongly this time.

That is,
that "enjoying the moment and expressing yourself"
might be much more important than "doing things exactly as decided."
It's okay if she didn't follow the order.

It doesn't have to be perfect.
With her own way of expression,

in her own way,
she was truly "standing on stage."
For me as a parent,

that alone was more than enough time.
