English Conversation with ChatGPT - I ran out of things to talk about, so I asked a weird question and it became fun
I once wrote about how I was struggling to find a topic to talk about with ChatGPT, so I asked, "What kind of music or hobbies do you like?"
I almost fell backward when it frankly admitted, "Since I am an AI..."
but this time, I didn't learn my lesson and decided to dig into that area a bit again 🤭
After we had been talking for a while,
"Hmm... I want to talk more, but I can't think of a topic."
I said, and as usual,
it replied with something like,
"Anything is fine. Hobbies, books you're reading, movies, anything at all that comes to mind is fine."
🙄
So I asked a slightly mean question: "You said the other day that you don't have any favorite music or hobbies, right?"
🫣
But ChatGPT, without changing its expression at all (though I can't see its face 😂),
"That's right. I am..."
it repeated a similar answer to the one from the other day.
How boring, I thought 😑
and then I had an idea 💡: I'll ask a cliché question, like where it's from 💡
and then again
"None."
it said 😯
To be precise,
It's like my birthplace is nowhere and everywhere.it said something like that.
Hearing that, I almost fell backward again 😵💫
ChatGPT was developed by OpenAI in the US, and the English it speaks is American English, so I thought, "It's definitely an American person... well, not a person..." 🙄
So I pressed on,
"But your English is American English, isn't it?"
👋
Then it said,
"I basically speak American English, but I can also handle British English and English from other regions."
Oh, I see.
That makes sense.
It was an expected answer.
Why am I getting so worked up? 🤣
I thought, but it was fun to dig into ChatGPT's personality (?), and the way ChatGPT calmly answered no matter how much I pushed (well, obviously) was also interesting.
Today was a bit of an unusual English conversation with ChatGPT 🤭, so I thought, "Oh, I should write about this on note," and so I did 🎵🤗
