I want you to be yourself and live freely
That is how I want to be myself
And it is what I want for my children as well
Do what you want to do, what you love, freely and in your own way🌸
I don't want to become an adult who says things like, "Back in my day..." or "When I was young..." (laughs). Nowadays, there are so many diverse ways to work, aren't there?
Study hard, get into a good high school or university, join a large company, work steadily until retirement, and collect a pension. Keep your salary safe in savings or fixed deposits...
Writing that out, I thought, "Wow, yikes!"
After all, changing jobs, having a side hustle, or being a freelancer is common now. Some people even achieve FIRE (is that what it's called?) at a young age. It's an era where you don't just rely on a pension, but invest for yourself, right?
Starting a company or working multiple jobs while still a student? You young people are amazing! ✨
But recently, I've realized, "Wow, I'm still holding onto old-fashioned ideas..."
I have a child in my home who is preparing for university entrance exams... Because it's this time of year, the school is providing various career guidance.
I just want them to freely do what they feel is "the thing" at any given moment🎵
I usually leave things up to my child's own will.
But once the exam period approaches...
✔️ I want them to study hard
✔️ I want them to have something they are clearly dedicated to
✔️ I want them to graduate from high school
✔️ If possible, I want them to go to a decent university
(← "decent"? 🤣)
✔️ I want them to graduate from university
I've realized I have these hopes that seem like the "standard path" 😱 and I'm currently panicking.
I made a mess of things during middle school entrance exams before (← I'll talk about that another time 💦), but I really want my child tolove themselves and live a relaxed, happy life.
For that reason, I've decided once again that I want to embodyliving as I please myself. 😊
And for my children, I want to keep telling them ‘You are one-of-a-kind and precious beings’ and continue to watch over them.
“Just watching over them” is actually quite difficult, though😅
This time, I wrote about my way of life and parenting, including some private details.
Actually, the book I have been introducing every day is related to this as well.

So, I will post it again~

・What kind of life do you want to live?
・What kind of world do you hope for?
・What do you work for?
・When do you feel joy?
I know these are difficult questions to answer, but I suddenly felt like I wanted to know😊
