an author with a unique art style who has many fans.
It is the perfect book to read while lying down,
relaxing, and taking it easy when you are tired.

We are getting closer to summer day by day, and there are more days with summer-like temperatures. However, perhaps because we are also approaching the rainy season, many people are feeling unwell due to sudden rain and the intense temperature fluctuations that bring cooler weather.
As a result, people are spending more time indoors, and it can be said that this is a time when reading is very productive.
Since this is a time when you can get the perfect situation for reading, I would like to write my impressions of books that have left an impression on me recently or books that I bought and left in a pile. I am writing this in the hope that it will make you even slightly interested in the work or the author, but please be aware that it contains 'minor spoiler elements' such as characters and vague synopses.

This is a collection of "complaints written in sketches" by picture book author Shinsuke Yoshitake, who has many fans due to his unique art style and whom even those who are not deep fans like me have seen before.
When you think of a collection of complaints, many people might imagine self-deprecation, but
"That's right. I'm careful so that my remarks don't sound sarcastic."
"It's impossible for you. And, it's impossible for me, too."
Like these, this approximately 200-page work is packed with a variety of texts, including terms that imply a bit of irony here and there, as well as long passages, so I enjoyed it quite a lot.
Personally,
"If I'm going to be treated with consideration, I'd rather be the one showing it"
is my favorite.
As you live a long life, situations inevitably arise where you have to interact with complete strangers in completely unfamiliar places.
It would be fine if they were good at showing consideration in such places, but when they act in a way that makes it obvious they are "trying to be considerate," and then others around notice it, the indescribable and unbearable atmosphere that follows makes me want to say 'please spare me' and run away, haha.

To be honest, this work is best enjoyed without reading it as seriously as I did for this review.
I think it is a work suitable for reading while lying down when you are a little tired or want to zone out.
And (naturally), there are many pages featuring Shinsuke Yoshitake's designs, making this a work that can be enjoyed in various ways.
